Egy társadalmi felmérés szerint az ukránok több mint 90%-a kész két-három évig áram és fűtés nélkül kibírni, amennyiben kilátásba helyezik uniós tagságunkat. Ezt Ukrajna first ladyje, Olena Zelenszka a BBC-nek adott interjújában jelentette be – írja az UNN.
Megjegyezte azonban: az országban mindenki abban reménykedik, hogy nem kell két-három évig tűrni.
„Azt hiszem, mindannyian reméljük, hogy nem így lesz. Mindannyian nagyon bízunk abban, hogy mindennek vége lesz. Tudják, könnyű lefutni a maratont, ha tudod, hány kilométer maradt. Mi sajnos nem tudjuk, hány kilométer van hátra, az erőnket kell számolni. Nehéz. Néha nagyon nehéz, de aztán történnek dolgok, amelyek segítenek kitartani” – mondta Zelenszka.

Az országát megszálló orosz csapatokat az Iszlám Állam (IS) terrorszervezethez hasonlította, és szexuális bűncselekmények elkövetésével vádolta őket Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök felesége.
Olena Zelenszka a Welt am Sonntag című német lapnak nyilatkozva a Nobel-békedíjas Nadia Muradra hivatkozott, akit az IS rabszolgasorba taszított, és azt mondta: „Szörnyű kimondani, de sok ukrán nő ugyanezt tapasztalja a megszállás alatt. Mert az orosz megszállók semmivel sem jobbak, mint az IS terroristái,” az ukrán nők most élik át ezeket a borzalmakat.
