З того часу, як в Україні почалося повномасштабне вторгнення російських військ, політика підтримки з боку Угорщини, яка була сконцентрована здебільшого на Закарпаття, стала ширшою. Зараз угорська підтримка поширюється на всю Україну – наголосив парламентський державний серкетар міністерства зовнішньої економіки та закордонних справ Угорщини Левенте Модьор під час стартової конференції проєкту „HUSKROUA” «Нуль відходів: теорія для всіх, практика для кожного у транскордонному регіоні» в селі Яноші. Проєкт «Zero Waste» або «Нуль відходів» очолює Європейське об’єднання територіального співробітництва «ТИСА» і він об’єднує в собі побудову сміттєпереробного заводу, розбудову мережі пунктів збору твердих побутових відходів та закупівлю потрібного обладнання для збору відсортованого сміття. Все це покликане вирішити багаторічну проблему Берегівської громади. На відкритті Левенте Модьор також наголосив, що як у випадку Закарпаття, так стосовно і всієї України, уряд Угорщини планує робити довгострокові вклади, та розраховує на довгострокове партнерство й довгострокову співпрацю.

Парламентський держсекретар міністерства зовнішньої економіки та закордонних справ Угорщини Левенте Мадяр у вівторок зустрівся в Будапешті з колишнім міністром зовнішніх справ України Павлом Клімкіним.
У пресрелізі після зустрічі держсекретар повідомив, що вони обговорили останні десять років українсько-угорських відносин і «ті моменти, які створили в цих відносинах ситуацію, раніше не характерну для них».
«Відносини були обтяжені серйозними суперечками, насамперед щодо правової ситуації угорської нацменшини в Україні», – зазначив міністр.
Левенте Мадяр підкреслив, що під час зустрічі обговорювалися кроки, які сторони можуть зробити сьогодні та найближчим часом, щоб «повернути українсько-угорські відносини, зокрема політичні, до здорового стану, в якому вони були до середини 2010-х».
«Ми дійшли згоди, що перш за все треба врегулювати питання щодо ситуації закарпатської угорської нацменшини, і побачили всі шанси для цього», – заявив державний секретар.
За його словами, це буде предметом обговорення також під час його візиту в Київ. Левенте Мадяр повідомив, що на початку квітня зустрінеться в українській столиці з партнерами, від яких, зокрема, очікує сприяння в досягненні прогресу в цьому питанні.
Ще однією темою переговорів стане масштабна гуманітарна діяльність, яку Угорщина здійснює для України та в Україні, повідомив міністр.
«Розглянемо, як ми можемо поглибити та розширити цю діяльність заради зниження руйнівних наслідків війни», – зазначив Левенте Мадяр.

Заступник міністра зовнішньої економіки та закордонних справ Угорщини Левенте Мадяр відвідав село Загальці під Києвом. Внаслідок війни школа та дитячий садок у населеному пункті стали непридатними для навчально-виховного процесу. Їх відбудовою займуться уряд Угорщини та Угорська екуменічна служба допомоги.
До України з кількаденним робочим візитом прибув держсекретар, заступник міністра зовнішньої економіки та закордонних справ Угорщини, Левенте Мадяр. У понеділок він зустрівся з керівником Закарпатської обласної військової адміністрації Віктором Микитою. Під час зустрічі йшлося про допомгу, яку Угорщина надає Україні, зокрема, підтримку вимушено переміщених осіб, які наразі перебувають на Закарпатті, та експорт українського зерна. У наступні місяці Угорщина має реалізувати велику програму розвитку, завдяки якій країна стане одним з найважливіших коридорів експорту українського зерна на світовий ринок. Очільник Закарпатської ОВА Віктор Микита подякував за підтримку Левенте Мадяра та Екуменічної служби милосердя. Під час візиту на Закарпаття Левенте Мадяр також зустрівся з представниками Закарпатської обласної ради. У наступні дні угорський держсекретар відвідає Львів, а також Київ, Бородянку та Бучу.
