Колишній премʼєр-міністр Великої Британії Борис Джонсон прибув до Києва в третю річницю вторгнення Росії. Про це політик повідомив у соцмережі X в понеділок, 24 лютого.
„Я пишаюся тим, що перебуваю тут, у Києві, у третю річницю вторгнення Путіна. Я вітаю незмінний героїзм українського народу у протистоянні мерзенному акту неспровокованої агресії та категорично відкидаю дивну неправду, яка зараз поширюється щодо походження тієї війни”, – заявив ексочільник британського уряду.

Колишній прем’єр Великої Британії Борис Джонсон здійснив таємний візит до Каракаса, обговоривши російсько-українську війну з президентом Венесуели Ніколасом Мадуро.
Про це пишуть журналісти газети The Sunday Times з посиланням на джерела.
За даними співрозмовників журналістів, британський експрем’єр прибув до Каракаса на приватному літаку з Домініканської Республіки, де відпочивав разом з родиною. Загалом він пробув у столиці Венесуели менш як добу.
Джонсон обговорив з Мадуро вторгнення росії до України та інформацію щодо можливого постачання зброї та іншої військової техніки з Венесуели до росії, додали інформатори.
Разом з тим політики обговорили покращення відносин Венесуели з Великою Британією, оскільки Лондон не визнає правомірність Мадуро.
Зокрема Джонсон хотів домовитися з венесуельським президентом про проведення чесних президентських виборів цього року, а також торкнувся напруженості у відносинах з Гаяною, колишньою британською колонією, що має значні ресурси нафти й мінералів у регіоні Ессекібо. 15 грудня 2023 року Гаяна та Венесуела пообіцяли не воювати за Ессекібо.

В Україну з неоголошеним візитом прибув колишній прем’єр-міністр Великобританії Борис Джонсон. Він вже зустрівся з президентом України Володимиром Зеленським у Києві та відвідав обласний центр реабілітаційної медицини.
Джонсон разом із Зеленським сьогодні взяли участь у 18-му щорічному форумі Ялтинської європейської стратегії. Президент подякував Джонсону за його підтримку Україні.
«З перших годин повномасштабної війни Борис Джонсон щиро підтримує Україну й допомагає захищатися від російської агресії. І зараз продовжує додавати Україні міжнародної підтримки. Дякую за твою енергію, друже», – йдеться у повідомленні Зеленського у Telegram.
Також Борис Джонсон відвідав Київський обласний центр реабілітаційної медицини. Він оглянув лікарню, побував у приміщеннях, де проводять ремонтні роботи, аби центр мав змогу прийняти ще більше поранених бійців.

За словами колишнього британського прем’єра, немає нічого дивного в тому, що Володимиру Зеленському було важко приховати розчарування підсумками саміту НАТО.
Країни Північноатлантичного Альянсу повинні були продемонструвати на саміті у Вільнюсі повагу і вдячність Україні у зв’язку з її опором Російській Федерації. Про це написав колишній прем’єр-міністр Великої Британії Борис Джонсон у своїй колонці в Daily Mail 14 липня.
Експолітик зазначив, що українці б’ються не тільки за свою незалежність, а й за всі демократичні країни, які можуть зазнати залякування або вторгнення з боку інших держав.
На думку Джонсона, жодна країна не зробила і не доклала більше зусиль, ніж Україна, щоб продемонструвати свою готовність до членства в НАТО, тому в Альянсі повинні були дати Києву чіткий „графік” щодо членства.
„Цього тижня лідери НАТО повинні були висловити свою колективну повагу і вдячність за героїчний опір України в боротьбі, в якій жодного солдата НАТО не було поранено або вбито”, — сказав Джонсон.

„Усе, що українці отримали цього тижня, — це „запрошення” вступити в НАТО, „коли союзники домовляться і коли будуть виконані умови”. Не дивно, що спочатку президенту Зеленському було важко приховати своє розчарування”, — заявив експрем’єр.
Борис Джонсон також написав, що нерішучість НАТО щодо України спонукала Володимира Путіна на вторгнення, оскільки він думає, що є шанс повернути Київ під вплив Москви.

„Борис Джонсон зустрівся з президентом Дональдом Трампом, щоб обговорити ситуацію в Україні і життєво важливе значення перемоги України”, – сказав прес-секретар Джонсона.
Зазначається, що Трамп раніше називав Джонсона другом, але їхні позиції щодо війни в Україні відрізняються. У той час як Джонсон був активним прихильником України, кілька разів відвідував Україну і закликав Захід надати країні більше зброї, Трамп ще на посаді президента неохоче надсилав військову допомогу Україні, а нещодавно заявив, що не знає, хто має перемогти у цій війні, і кого він підтримуватиме у разі, якщо він повернеться до Білого дому.
Джонсон, який пішов з посади минулого року, їздив по Америці цього тижня, щоб заручитися підтримкою України серед вищих республіканців.

Про це 23 травня повідомила The Times.
Британські державні службовці доповіли поліції про відвідання Джонсоном офіційної заміської резиденції прем’єр-міністра „Чекерс”, а також про потенційні порушення в резиденції на Даунінг-стріт під час пандемії.
The Times поінформувала, що потенційні порушення стали відомими під час підготовки Джонсона до майбутнього розслідування щодо того, як країна впоралася з пандемією COVID-19. Два джерела в уряді заявили журналістам, що експрем’єр надав адвокатам доступ до свого щоденника, який містить подробиці всіх його зустрічей, щоб допомогти його захисту.
У цьому щоденнику юристи, як повідомляють, і виявили інформацію про відвідувачів „Чекерса” в періоди ковідних обмежень 2020-го та 2021 року.
Поліція Темз-Веллі й Лондона підтвердила, що їм передали докази ймовірного порушення Джонсоном карантину в період із червня 2020 року до травня 2021 року в „Чекерсі” й на Даунінг-стріт. Наразі поліція оцінює цю інформацію.

Колишній прем’єр-міністр Великобританії Борис Джонсон заявив, що претендуватиме на посаду генерального секретаря Північноатлантичного Альянсу. Про це у четвер, 23 лютого, він заявив в ефірі українського телемарафону.
Зокрема, журналіст запитав Джонсона, чи не планує він очолити НАТО. Той відповів, що це „гарна, дуже вдала думка”.
„Хочу наголосити, шановні друзі, що такий задум є, і нехай ніхто не забуває, що такий кандидат у запасі є. Цього разу, я думаю, мені пощастить”, – сказав він.
У той же час він згадав, що колишній прем’єр-міністр Італії Маріо Драгі пропонував призначити наступним генсеком НАТО представника Європейського Союзу.
„Я з ним повністю не згоден. Думаю, що є інші кандидати за межами Європейського Союзу. Не обов’язково це має бути ЄС. Я себе, звичайно, розглядаю як кандидата. Це хороша та важлива посада”, – додав екс-прем’єр Британії.
Джонсон підкреслив, що НАТО зараз „сильне, як ніколи”, і до нього незабаром приєднаються нові члени – Швеція та Фінляндія. А також у перспективі – Україна.
„Путін розвінчав усі аргументи проти вступу України до НАТО. Тепер їх немає”, – підсумував він.

Президент Володимир Зеленський вважає, що Україна може перемогти у війні з росією вже у 2023 році, якщо українці зберігатимуть міцність.
Зеленський: „Я дуже вірю, що ми зможемо перемогти у 2023 році. Не все залежить від нас, але при цьому все залежить від нас. Нам не можна втратити нашу міцність. Будемо її втрачати – війна буде довшою. Ми все одно переможемо.
Швидкість залежить від двох головних речей – наша міцність всередині, номер один. Наша міцність зовні, це допомога наших партнерів. І там, і там ми спроможні перемогти цього року. Але і там, і там може бути уповільнення в процесах, і тоді це буде більш довгий шлях, але він точно до перемоги”.
Президент також відкинув будь-які твердження щодо необов’язковості перемоги України чи допустимості часткової перемоги.
У свою чергу, Джонсон заявив, що друзі України допоможуть „якомога швидше закінчити цю війну у 2023 році”.
„Тому що це буде найкраще для світу – щоб не гинули люди, і це буде краще для України й, чесно кажучи, для російського народу теж. Закінчімо вже це”, – наголосив він.
За словами Джонсона, для завершення війни найперше потрібно якнайшвидше надати Україні всю необхідну зброю.
„Це означає, що треба надати танки. Я гордий, що ми – перша країна, яка надішле танки „Челенджер”, і ми очікуємо танків від інших країн. Ми хочемо отримати літаки для народу України, і нам треба досконаліше обладнання, озброєння всіх видів, яке дасть вам змогу захистити свою країну”, – сказав колишній прем’єр Великої Британії.
Він також наголосив, що наявність сучасної зброї в української армії не призведе до ескалації, адже росія й так використовує на українській території всі наявні в неї засоби.

Відео глава держави Володимир Зеленський опублікував у мережі. Також на зустріч із Джонсоном прийшла низка українських посадовців.

Джонсон – „Залізний друг” прибув до Києва потягом, – „Укрзалізниця”.
„Сьогодні вже вчетверте наші вагони доставили пана Джонсона до Києва, який дорогою запевнив, що не мав сумнівів у перемозі України ще до того, як це стало загальноєвропейським мейнстрімом, а британці зараз роблять усе можливе, щоб „Леопарди” все ж таки оселилися в українських степах”, – повідомили в УЗ.
„Екс-прем’єр Великої Британії Джонсон відвідав Бородянку на Київщині та оглянув наслідки російських бомбардувань селища”, – сказав в коментарі „Суспільному” в. о. селищного голови Бородянки Георгій Єрко.
Як повідомили журналісти телемарафону, він оглядав руйнування, які були скоєні росіянами під час окупації Київської області, цікавився тим, скільки людей загинуло під час окупації та яка кількість змогла повернутися в свої домівки після звільнення території.
Тим часом, як повідомляють ЗМІ, екс-прем’єр та великий друг України вже відвідав місце масового поховання жертв російського вторгнення в Бучі.
Подробиці візиту Джонсона поки що не відомі. Як написав радник голови МВС Антон Геращенко, екс-прем’єр Британії, який наразі не обіймає офіційної посади і „міг прибути з приватним візитом”.
