Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök szombaton Kijevben találkozott Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnökkel – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál Zelenszkij Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Sánchez szimbolikus napon – Spanyolország európai uniós elnökségének első napján – érkezett Ukrajnába. Az ukrán elnök megköszönte a spanyol kormányfőnek a támogatását. „Közös európai otthonunk nem képzelhető el Ukrajna nélkül, a szabadság és az igazságosság melletti bátor kiállásunk és elkötelezettségünk nélkül” – írta Volodimir Zelenszkij.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy ma Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnök munkalátogatásra érkezett Kijevbe. A kormányfő látogatásának célja Ukrajna támogatásának erősítése. Sánchez felszólalt a Legfelső Tanácsban is. Arról biztosított, hogy Spanyolország támogatja Ukrajnát az Oroszország elleni harcban és az Európai Unió, valamint a NATO felé vezető úton.
Sánchez új, 55 millió eurós segélycsomagot is bejelentett. Ebből 51 millió a Világbankon keresztül érkezik az ukrajnai kis- és középvállalkozások támogatására. A többit iskolák helyreállítására fordítják.

A kiadvány riporterének, Dmitro Tuzsanszkijnak a kérdésére válaszolva, miszerint napirenden van-e Orbán Viktor találkozója Volodimir Zelenszkijjel, Gulyás azt mondta: „Ukrajna nagyon fontos szomszédja Magyarországnak. Ezért mi készen állunk a találkozóra. A döntés Ukrajnán múlik.” További kérdésre válaszolva megerősítette, „nincsenek előzetes feltételei a találkozónak. Magyarország miniszterelnöke kész találkozni Volodimir Zelenszkijjel.”
Az újságíró érdeklődésére, hogy Magyarország mit vár Ukrajnától jelenleg, valamint a közeljövőben, és mit tud felajánlani Ukrajnának az elvárásaiért és a jószomszédi kapcsolatokért, a miniszter kifejtette: „úgy gondolom, ez gyümölcsöző lehet mindkét ország számára, mert mi készek vagyunk támogatni Ukrajna integrációját a NATO-ba és az Európai Unióba, szerintem ez is érdekünk.” Hozzátette, „ugyanakkor azt szeretnénk, és szerintünk ez Ukrajna kötelezettsége, hogy biztosítva legyenek a magyar közösség alapvető jogai, különösen az anyanyelvű oktatáshoz való jog. Ebben a konkrét kérdésben kompromisszumra szeretnénk jutni Ukrajnával.”
Tuzsanszkij felvetésére, hogy lehet-e a kétnyelvű oktatás ez a kompromisszum, Gulyás Gergely hangsúlyozta: „meggyőződésem, hogy igen. Sőt ez nem kérdés.” Majd így folytatta: „úgy vélem, normális cél Ukrajna részéről, hogy minden állampolgára tudjon ukránul beszélni. Mindazonáltal úgy gondolom, hogy annak, aki nemzetiségi kisebbséghez tartozik, rendelkeznie kell a joggal az anyanyelven való tanuláshoz.”

We had a long and substantive conversation with @POTUS. We started with one-on-one talks before inviting European leaders to join us. This call lasted for more than an hour and a half, including about an hour of our bilateral conversation with President Trump.
Kétnapos munkalátogatásra érkezett Kárpátaljára Volodimir Zelenszkij, államfő. Az első napon meglátogatta a Nagy építkezés projekt keretében felújított létesítményeket, a határátkelőket és az ungvári repteret. Az itteni látogatást megelőzően Zelenszkij Szlovákiában járt, ahol találkozott a köztársasági elnökkel, Zuzana Čaputovával.
Kárpátaljai sajtótájékoztatóján Zelenszkij kijelentette, hogy nem tudja garantálni azt, hogy még idén sor kerülhet a Magyarország miniszterelnökével, Orbán Viktorral való találkozójára. Ugyanakkor hozzátette, hogy ezzel kapcsolatban folynak a tárgyalások.
Egy éve annak, hogy beiktatták hivatalába Ukrajna legnépszerűbb humoristáját, Volodimir Zelenszkij, ukrán államfőt. A fiatal politikus akkor 73 %-al győzte le a regnáló nacionalista Petro Porosenkot, azzal az ígérettel, hogy nyelvi szabadságjogokat biztosít, valamint minél hamarabb befejezi a kelet-ukrajnai konfliktust.
A választási sikert a színészből lett politikus az ország keleti és déli régiójában élő többnyire oroszajkú ukrán polgárok szavazatainak köszönheti. A kirekesztő nyelvtörvényt és az oktatási jogszabályt azonban mind a mai napig nem módosították, hiába tett annak felülvizsgálatára ígéretet ezt az elnök. A kárpátaljai magyarok 92 %-a is Zelenszkijre szavazott annak reményében, hogy visszakapja jogait, egyelőre azonban mindez nem történt meg.

Zelenszkij elnökké választása már a második kormány van hatalmon. Az államfő jelenleg legfontosabb feladatának a kelet-ukrajnai háború befejezését tartja, emellett pedig belekezdett az ország történetének legnagyobb útépítési projektjébe, melynek keretében több ezer km-nyi új úthálózatot kap az ország. Kárpátalján ebből 370 km-nyi évtizedek óta nem javított út kap új burkolatot.
Kijev és Budapest részéről is megerősítették, amint enyhül a koronavírus miatti helyzet, sor kerülhet Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán államfő és Orbán Viktor magyar miniszterelnök találkozójára, írja a Magyar Nemzet. A régóta napirenden lévő legmagasabb szintű találkozótól sokat remél a kárpátaljai magyar kisebbség is.

Az ukrán fél dolgozik a Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök és Viktor Orbán magyar miniszterelnök közötti tartalmas találkozó szervezésén, a magyar kormányfő ugyanis túl jelentős politikai figura ahhoz, hogy várakoztassuk – jelentette ki Dmitro Kuleba, európai és euroatlanti integrációért felelős miniszterelnök-helyettes az Ukrinform állami hírügynökségnek adott, pénteken megjelent interjújában.
A helyettes kormányfő
elmondta, mind ő, mind a külügyminiszter, mind pedig az Elnöki Iroda azon
dolgozik, hogy létrejöjjön a magyar miniszterelnök és az ukrán elnök közötti
találkozó. De ezen valamiről meg kell állapodni, ezért az ilyen léptékű
megállapodásokat alaposan elő kell készíteni – tette hozzá.
Utalva Orbán Viktornak a
január 9-i évnyitó sajtókonferenciáján tett kijelentésére, miszerint „várunk a
sorunkra” az ukrán elnökkel történő találkozót illetően, Kuleba hangsúlyozta:
„Magyarország miniszterelnöke túl jelentős politikai figura ahhoz, hogy a
sorára várjon.” Szerinte a magyar kormányfőnek egyszerűen kitűnő a humora, az
említett megjegyzése pedig elegáns diplomáciai kijelentés volt. Ismét méltányoltam
Orbán Viktor diplomáciai tehetségét – mondta az ukrán miniszterelnök-helyettes.
Kuleba emlékeztetett
arra, hogy az ukrán fél hónapokon át világos, közte nyilvános jelzéseket
küldött Magyarországnak arról, hogy normális, tárgyszerű, mindkét felet
kielégítő megoldás megtalálására irányuló párbeszédet szeretne. Hozzáfűzte: ő
maga „százezerszer” megjegyezte, hogy úgy soha nem lesz, mint az oktatási
törvény 2017-es elfogadásáig volt, de arról, hogyan legyen tovább, meg lehet
állapodni – a szavaival – az ukrán törvények keretein belül, tiszteletben
tartva Magyarország és Ukrajna értekeit.
„Az említett kommunikáció
csúcspontját az ukrán elnök újévi beszéde jelentette, amikor az államfő néhány
kifejezést magyar nyelven mondott el. Ezt követően Orbán miniszterelnök
meghallott minket, és megérezte, ez az a pillanat, amikor válaszolnia kell.
Ezzel együtt fontos, hogy ez az üzenet mindenekelőtt a magyar kisebbségnek, a
magyar származású ukrán állampolgároknak szólt. Amikor találkozunk magyar
partnereinkkel, konkrétan fogunk beszélni a Kárpátalja fejlesztését elősegítő
projektekről” – mondta el az interjúban Dmitro Kuleba.

Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it. Because it is Russia that humiliates itself. We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.
This is Russia’s, not just Putin’s war. Not Putin, but actual Russian soldiers come from Russia to kill, torture and destroy. Russians overwhelmingly support the war, cheer missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and murder of Ukrainians. Let Russian tourists enjoy Russia then.
Calls by some German politicians to launch NS2 for a little while and close it later are totally irrational. This resembles drug addiction, when a person says “Just one last time!” without realizing the devastating consequences of each “last time”. Addiction to Russian gas kills!
The suggested elements of the upcoming EU sanctions package on Russia do not correspond to the scale of Putin’s escalation and the threat he poses to Europe and the whole world. We encourage the EU to hit Putin harder in order to stop him. This is a crucial moment.
