Az ukrán határőrök péntek este nem engedték ki Petro Porosenko volt elnököt Ukrajnából Lengyelországba, hogy részt vegyen a NATO Parlamenti Közgyűlésének ülésén – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál szombaton Irina Herascsenko, az Európai Szolidaritás (JSZ) párt parlamenti társ-frakcióvezetőjének közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Herascsenko jelezte, hogy az ügyben az JSZ-frakció vezetése megpróbálta felvenni a kapcsolatot a Legfelső Tanács elnökével, hogy kiderüljön, mi történik, de Ruszlan Sztefancsuk nem vette fel a telefont. „Ma este Porosenkót nem engedték ki a határon. Nincs magyarázat. A Rava Ruszka átkelőn a határőrök ostobaságokat beszéltek »hamis vagy visszavont engedélyről«, bár az összes többi parlamenti képviselőt gond nélkül kiengedték” – mondta.
A pártfunkcionárius szerint „a képviselők pártállás szerinti megkülönböztetése régóta tart, de ekkora pofátlanságot most először látunk, ami visszarepíti az országot Janukovics idejébe.” Mint jelezte, a JSZ ezt a helyzetet a hatóságok intézkedésének tekinti a Porosenko ellen folyó háborúban. „Ez nem csak a meghirdetett egység aláásása, hanem annak teljes lerombolása. Ez kicsinyes és méltatlan politika. Ennek a provokációnak a célja a társadalom megosztása, Ukrajna nemzetközi tekintélyének a rombolása” – háborgott Irina Herascsenko, megjegyezve, hogy szerinte ez különösen veszélyesnek tűnik az Ukrajna európai uniós tagjelölti státuszának megszerzéséről folyó nehéz vita előestéjén.
