A jelentés szerint az ukrán diplomácia vezetője bejegyzésében azt állította, hogy a nyugati vadászgépek átadása segít Ukrajnának a globális élelmezésbiztonság helyreállításában. „Egy jól felszerelt F-16-os vadászgépekből álló századdal Ukrajna képes lesz távol tartani az orosz hadihajókat és repülőgépeket a fekete-tengeri gabonafolyosótól, így biztosítva a gabonaszállító hajók zavartalan haladását” – magyarázta Dmitro Kuleba.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Mark Rutte holland miniszterelnök közlése szerint Amszterdam az európai országokkal és más partnerekkel dolgozik azon, hogy modern harci gépeket szállítsanak Ukrajnának. Amint azt Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök megjegyezte, az ukrán fegyveres erők hamarosan ellentámadást indítanak. „Ezek után biztosak vagyunk abban, hogy a szövetségesek ellátnak bennünket harci repülőgépekkel” – hangsúlyozta az ukrán elnök.
