Irán arányos fellépéssel fog válaszolni arra, hogy Ukrajna leépíti diplomáciai kapcsolatait a közel-keleti országban. Kijev amiatt hozta meg ezt a döntés, mert a hírek szerint Irán drónokat szállított Oroszországnak – írta a Reuters.
Az iráni külügyminisztérium szóvivője, Nasszer Kanáni szerint Ukrajnának óvakodnia kellene attól, hogy harmadik felek befolyásolhassák az országaik közötti kétoldalú kapcsolatokat.
Ukrajna pénteken jelentette be, hogy visszavonja az iráni nagykövet akkreditációját és jelentősen csökkenti a kijevi iráni nagykövetség diplomáciai személyzetének létszámát Teherán azon döntését követően, hogy drónokat szállít az orosz hadsereg részére.
Iránnak ezt a cselekedetét Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök a gonosszal való együttműködésnek nevezte.
Kanáni szerint az ukrán döntés meg nem erősített jelentéseken alapult, és külföldi (nyugati) felek feszültségkeltésének eredménye.
Bár Irán korábban tagadta, hogy drónokat szállítana Oroszországnak, de a Kayhan nevű konzervatív helyi lap információi szerint Teherán több száz felfegyverzett drónt értékesített.
Egy ideje már iráni drónok hajtanak végre műveleteket Ukrajnában a NATO ellen – számolt be róla az a lap, amelynek vezetőjét személyesen Ali Hámenei ajatollah, Irán legfőbb vezetője nevezi ki.
Ukrán katonai jelentések szombaton arról számoltak be, hogy legalább hét Iránból származó drónt lőttek le Odessza és Pidennyi kikötőinek közelében, köztük hat Shahed-136-os kamikaze légi járművet is.
A megsemmisített egységek között volt egy Mohajer-6 típusú, nagyobb méretű iráni drón is, amelyet először észleltek az országban.
Mihajlo Podoljak ukrán elnöki tanácsadó szombaton Twitter-üzenetében úgy fogalmazott, hogy Irán támogatja Oroszországot azzal, hogy modern drónokat ad el neki, ezzel hozzájárulva ukrán emberek meggyilkolásához.

Blinken, aki a hét vezető ipari hatalom (G7) külügyminisztereinek hivatalosan kedden kezdődő londoni értekezletére érkezett a brit fővárosba, Dominic Raab brit külügyminiszterrel tartott közös sajtótájékoztatóján kijelentette: az Egyesült Államok a viszony további éleződése helyett azt szeretné, ha Oroszországhoz fűződő kapcsolatai stabilabbak, kiszámíthatóbbak lenne.
Ha Oroszország lépéseket tesz ebben az irányban, mi is így teszünk – tette hozzá.
Blinken kijelentette: Joe Biden amerikai elnöknek alkalma lesz ezt közvetlenül is kifejteni Vlagyimir Putyin orosz államfőnek kettejük találkozóján.
Az amerikai külügyminiszter ugyanakkor nem bocsátkozott részletekbe arról, hogy mikor várható az amerikai–orosz csúcstalálkozó.
