Csehország kormány nagyszabású kijevi látogatásra készül a miniszterek mintegy felének a részvételével, az előzetes információk szerint a küldöttség október 31-én érkezik az ukrán fővárosba – jelentette be pénteken Vaclav Smolka cseh kormányszóvivő, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az iDNES című cseh kiadványra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a szóvivő azt mondta, hogy nem az egész kormány megy Ukrajnába, ahogy az ilyen tárgyalásokon szokás, hanem annak csak egy része. Az, hogy pontosan mely miniszterek utaznak majd Kijevbe, attól függ, hogy a látogatás további előkészítése során milyen napirendben állapodnak meg – tette hozzá. Megjegyezte, hogy a fő témák az orosz agresszió következményei és a háború utáni újjáépítés kérdései lesznek.
Smolka azt is hangsúlyozta, hogy az ukrajnai látogatásnál a háborús körülmények közepette tekintettel kell lenni a biztonsági feltételekre, és számolni kell mindezekkel a kockázatokkal.
Mint hírportálunk október 5-én beszámolt róla, Jana Černochová cseh védelmi miniszter bejelentette, hogy Prága további katonai támogatást nyújt Ukrajnának az Oroszországgal vívott teljes körű háborúhoz. A tájékoztatása szerint az új katonai segélycsomag nehézfegyvereket tartalmaz, de Csehország biztonsági okokból nem hozza nyilvánosságra a részleteket. A közösségi oldalakon terjedő fotó- és videoanyagokból, valamint Ukrajna és szövetségesei nyilatkozataiból arra lehet következtetni, hogy a Cseh Köztársaság elsősorban tankokat, helikoptereket, ágyúkat és rakétavetőket szállít.
