A Bloomberg szerint az uniós tisztviselők január óta gyűjtik a példákat ellentmondásos projektekről.
Az EU végrehajtó testülete már elkészítette azokat a konkrét példákat tartalmazó leveleket, amelyekben hivatalosan kérik majd Magyarországot és Lengyelországot, hogy adjanak számot olyan projektekről, amikben az Európai Bizottság szerint visszaéltek a blokk pénzeivel – adta hírül a Bloomberg. A cikk szerint az uniós tisztviselők január óta gyűjtik a példákat ellentmondásos projektekről, és úgy érzik, hogy már van belőlük elég ahhoz, hogy elindítsák az új eljárást a két ország ellen.
Ursula von der Leyen bizottsági elnök a múlt hónapban kijelentette, „semmilyen intézkedésre nem kerül sor”, mielőtt a blokk legfelsőbb bírósága döntést hozna az eljárás törvényességéről, de előkészítik a folyamatot. A cikk kiemelte, Magyarország és Lengyelország azzal érvel, hogy a mechanizmust a blokk szerződéseinek megsértésével fogadták el.
