Az Európai Unió 2023 után is folytatja Ukrajna pénzügyi támogatását, és már megkezdte a támogatással kapcsolatos munkát – jelentette ki Ursula von der Leyen, az Európai Bizottság elnöke a Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel tartott közös tájékoztatón Kijevben, számolt be a Szuszpilne.
„Folytatjuk Ukrajna számára létfontosságú pénzügyi támogatásunkat. A 2023 évre 18 milliárd euró összegű segélyt terveztünk, amelyből 6 milliárd eurót már átutaltunk. Ez jelentősen hozzájárul Ukrajna költségvetési hiányának leküzdéséhez, de természetesen már dolgozunk a 2023-as évet követő pénzügyi támogatáson” – mondta Európai Bizottság elnöke.
Az Európai Unió Tanácsa 2022. december 10-én hagyta jóvá 2023-as 18 milliárd euró összegű támogatást Ukrajnának. Ursula von der Leyen, az Európai Bizottság elnöke október 21-én jelentette be, hogy Ukrajna az év végéig 9 milliárd eurós makroszintű pénzügyi támogatást kap az EU-tól.
