Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök azt a feladatot tűzte ki a hadsereg elé, hogy szabadítsa fel egész Ukrajnát az orosz megszállás alól, és ez csak idő kérdése – jelentette ki kedden Olekszij Danilov, a Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára egy rádióinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Danilov a Szabadság Rádió ukrán adásának tett nyilatkozatában riporteri kérdésre válaszolva, hogy elkezdődött-e Herszon megye felszabadítása, elmondta: „szeretném felhívni a figyelmet arra, hogy nem csak Herszon-megyéről beszélünk, hanem az egész ország felszabadításáról van szó. És amikor az elnök feladatot szab a hadseregünknek, akkor egész Ukrajnáról beszél.”
Az RNBO-titkár hozzátette: „természetesen nem tudjuk egyszerre felszabadítani az összes területet, de a legfelsőbb parancsnok azt a feladatot tűzte ki, hogy minden területünket fel kell szabadítani az agresszortól. Ez csak idő és prioritás kérdése.” Szerinte a Herszon melletti orosz raktárakban történt robbanások nagy pontosságú fegyverekkel mért csapások következményei. „Oroszország feladata, hogy megsemmisítsen minket mint országot, megsemmisítse országunk legfelsőbb politikai vezetését, és hogy az országunk megszűnjön” – mutatott rá Olekszij Danilov.
