A jelentés szerint, az ukrán diplomácia vezetője azt írta: „természetesen két kulcsfontosságú találkozó volt Brüsszelben, az első – ismerkedés és kapcsolatfelvétel Németország új kancellárjával.” Hozzáfűzte, „elmondhatom, Scholz úr – és ez természetes – eléggé óvatos volt, mivel még tanulmányozza a helyzetet. De egyértelmű volt, hogy Németország Ukrajna oldalán áll ebben a helyzetben, világosan értjük, hogy ki nem felelős az eszkalációért és a minszki folyamat blokkolásáért.”
Kuleba jelezte, hogy szerinte sok munkára lesz szükség Németországgal és új kormányával. „Ebben a kormányban különböző vélemények vannak, de nagyon fontos, hogy az elnök (Zelnszkij) és Scholz kancellár szót váltottak egymással, érezték egymást, és azzal váltak el, hogy továbbgondolják a dolgokat és tovább dolgoznak” – fogalmazott.
A külügyminiszter szerint a második rendkívül fontos találkozó a belga fővárosban Ukrajna, Franciaország és Németország trojka normandiai minicsúcsa volt, ahol egyeztették az álláspontokat arról, hogyan kell tovább együttműködniük Oroszországot tárgyalóasztalhoz ültetése érdekében. „Sajnos Oroszország most csak annyit tesz, hogy elutasítja a diplomáciai elutasít és destruktív katonai-biztonsági pályára összpontosít” – szögezte le Dmitro Kuleba.

Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it. Because it is Russia that humiliates itself. We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.
