Szlovákia kormánya leállította a raktáraiból származó katonai támogatások Ukrajnába való szállítását. Erről hivatalosan is tájékoztatta a NATO vezetését, közölte a szlovák védelmi minisztérium sajtószolgálata.
November 13-án Robert Kalinjak szlovák védelmi miniszter találkozott Jens Stoltenberg NATO-főtitkárral. A megbeszélésen tájékoztatta a szövetség vezetőjét az Ukrajnának nyújtott katonai segélyek megszüntetéséről.
„Mindazonáltal Szlovákia meglehetősen széles skáláját kínálja a nem halált okozó humanitárius, polgári és technikai segítségnyújtásnak” – áll a közleményben.
A szlovák védelmi minisztérium azt állítja, hogy külföldi partnerei „teljes mértékben tiszteletben tartják” az ország új kormányának döntését.
