Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it. Because it is Russia that humiliates itself. We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives.
Had a fruitful conversation with ?? PM Viktor #Orban. Thanked for the support of ?? sovereignty & the shelter for Ukrainians during the war. Agreed to develop cooperation in the energy sector. Grateful for supporting the candidate status for ??. Invited him to visit Ukraine.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.
Heading to Vienna to advance the negotiations. The Onus is on those who breached the deal & have failed to distance from ominous legacy. The US must seize the opportunity offered by the JCPOA partners’ generosity; ball is in their court to show maturity & act responsibly.
Preparing to travel to Vienna for talks on basis of @JosepBorrellF's text. Our expectations are in check, but the United States welcomes EU efforts and is prepared for a good faith attempt to reach a deal. It will shortly be clear if Iran is prepared for the same.

I call on all EU and G7 states to stop issuing visas to Russians. President @ZelenskyyUa is absolutely right to insist on this. Russians overwhelmingly support the war on Ukraine. They must be deprived of the right to cross international borders until they learn to respect them.
This is Russia’s, not just Putin’s war. Not Putin, but actual Russian soldiers come from Russia to kill, torture and destroy. Russians overwhelmingly support the war, cheer missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and murder of Ukrainians. Let Russian tourists enjoy Russia then.
In our call, IAEA Director General @rafaelmgrossi informed me that, responding to Ukraine’s invitation, he is ready to lead an IAEA delegation to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. I emphasized the mission’s urgency to address nuclear security threats caused by Russia’s hostilities.
Calls by some German politicians to launch NS2 for a little while and close it later are totally irrational. This resembles drug addiction, when a person says “Just one last time!” without realizing the devastating consequences of each “last time”. Addiction to Russian gas kills!
I am grateful to @JosepBorrellF and EU foreign ministers for doing exactly what I asked them for yesterday: ramping up military aid for Ukraine and sanctions pressure on Russia. The EU keeps proving its determination. We look forward to a swift implementation of both decisions. pic.twitter.com/h3qNWKQVnM
Putin’s and Lavrov’s irresponsible statements on the possible use of nuclear weapons are absolutely unacceptable. Ukraine won’t give in. We call on all nuclear powers to speak out now and make it clear to Russia that such rhetorics put the world at risk and will not be tolerated.
The suggested elements of the upcoming EU sanctions package on Russia do not correspond to the scale of Putin’s escalation and the threat he poses to Europe and the whole world. We encourage the EU to hit Putin harder in order to stop him. This is a crucial moment.
I welcome the EU’s prompt action following my appeal on Monday to impose sanctions on Iran for helping Russia kill Ukrainians and damage our energy infrastructure. In three days, the EU agreed on a set of restrictions which will take effect as soon as today.
Governments which still have not banned RT must watch this excerpt. This is what you side with if you allow RT to operate in your countries. Aggressive genocide incitement (we will put this person on trial for it), which has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Ban RT worldwide! https://t.co/xJC371rqyg
I value that @Antonio_Tajani held his first call as Italy’s new Foreign Minister with me. A clear sign of the new government’s priorities. I wished him all the success in his endeavors and emphasized that Ukraine’s highest priority now is to swiftly receive air defense systems.
After committing the crime of aggression against Ukraine, numerous war crimes, undermining global food and energy security, should Russia still occupy the seat of a permanent member of the UN Security Council? Remember that Russia is there on dubious legal grounds. @United24mediapic.twitter.com/x7eQ3KmDSy

I had a call with @JosepBorrellF discussing in detail the preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-EU summit on February 3. We have outlined our expectations and focused on a format that will ensure its success. We also discussed military aid, sanctions, and Iran-Russia cooperation.
This will be the first meeting between Ukraine, the European Union, and NATO in this trilateral format. I look forward to meeting @JensStoltenberg and @JosepBorrellF to strengthen our partnership and cooperation in defending Ukraine and Europe. https://t.co/QA0g0I0B3W
I took part in a G7 ministerial meeting at the invitation of Japanese FM Hayashi Yoshimasa. We focused on everything needed for Ukraine's victory in 2023. There will be rapid deliveries of weapons and new sanctions. Russia must realise we won’t tire of countering its aggression. pic.twitter.com/Z6sCs4yLPY
Russian UNSC presidency is a slap in the face to the international community. I urge the current UNSC members to thwart any Russian attempts to abuse its presidency. I also remind that Russia is an outlaw on the UNSC: https://t.co/rZVC1pV0MY#BadRussianJoke#InsecurityCouncil
In our today’s call, @MelanieJoly and I discussed ways to expedite Canada’s security assistance for Ukraine and the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius. I am grateful to Canada for standing with Ukraine.
A horrific video of Russian troops decapitating a Ukrainian prisoner of war is circulating online. It’s absurd that Russia, which is worse than ISIS, is presiding over the UNSC. Russian terrorists must be kicked out of Ukraine and the UN and be held accountable for their crimes.
Russia unleashed another salvo of missiles on Ukraine this Saturday. Russia will not stop until it is stopped. The global community must focus on enforcing a just and lasting peace: arming Ukraine, including with F-16s to close the sky, and implementing Ukraine’s Peace Formula.
Russia makes a mistake if it thinks it can “wait out” military aid for Ukraine. Ukraine will only get stronger, and Russian aggression will fail. We are not just bringing weapons to Ukraine. We are ramping up domestic production and co-production with partners in NATO and beyond. pic.twitter.com/mljxtPNKX6
Our talks at @MFA_Ukraine proved that Ukraine and the UK are determined to work together toward victory.
The UK remains steadfast in providing Ukraine with weapons, increasing their co-production, and ridding the Black Sea of Russian threats. pic.twitter.com/k3ZGNo3RcN
