Egy ukrajnai látogatás Emmanuel Macron francia elnök és Olaf Scholz német kancellár hasznára válhat, mert megváltoztathatja a háborúhoz való hozzáállásukat, ahogy ez Ursula von der Leyen és Josep Borrel európai vezetők esetében is történt – jelentette ki Marcin Pszydacz lengyel külügyminiszter-helyettes hétfőn egy rádióinterjúban, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Pszydacz a Polskie Rádiónak nyilatkozva azt mondta, „meglátjuk, milyen hatása lesz ennek az utazásnak, amikor valóban megtörténik.” Mint hangsúlyozta, az ukrajnai látogatás nagy benyomást tett az Európai Bizottság elnökére, Ursula von der Leyenre és Josep Borrelre, az uniós diplomácia vezetőjére. Emlékeztetett rá, hogy két politikusnak az orosz invázió kezdetén kétértelmű volt az álláspontja, de az „ukrajnai látogatás után megértették, mit jelent a háború
A lengyel külügyminiszter-helyettes rámutatott: „nem áltatom itt magam: ez a három európai vezető – Macron, Scholz és Mario Draghi olasz miniszterelnök – minden bizonnyal megváltoztatja a hozzáállását. A mai hozzáállásuk határozottan más.” Aláhúzta: „dolgoznunk kell azon, hogy ne gyakoroljanak nyomást Volodimir Zelenszkij elnökre.” Kételkedését fejezte ki, miszerint nem érti, miért kell Ukrajnának megbocsátania Oroszországnak. „Lehet, hogy valamelyik nyugati ország meg akarja engedni, hogy Putyin a saját költségén mentse az arcát?” – tette fel a költői kérdést Marcin Pszydacz.
