A tudósítás szerint az elnök elmondta, hogy a katonákat az országon belüli szellem motiválja. „Úgy gondolom, hogy a háború elején erősebb volt a szellem. Mindannyian háborúban álltunk. Azokban a városokban is, ahol nem volt megszállás, az volt az érzésünk, hogy mindannyian háborúban állunk. Most látom, hogy néhány városban lazaság van. Úgy gondolom, hogy ez gyengeség” – mutatott rá.



Az államfő felszólította az ukránokat, hogy a lehető leghamarabb szedjék össze magukat szellemük erősítése érdekében, valamint emlékeztette azokat, akik már elkezdtek lazítani, hogy a háború folytatódik. Jelenleg Ukrajna fő feladata, hogy megakadályozza az orosz revansot, és megakadályozza, hogy Oroszország megismételje a háború elején végrehajtott inváziót – tette hozzá.



„Nem kell az apróságokra figyelnünk, hanem államunk fő kérdésével, a háborúval kell foglalkoznunk. És ezért e szellem nélkül, mit mondjak, azt hiszem, e szellem nélkül nem lesz győzelem. És győzelem nélkül nem lesz Ukrajna. Minden a mi kezünkben van. Mi készen állunk. Remélem, ti is” – hangoztatta Volodimir Zelenszkij.
