A román államfő a korábban Twitterként ismert, X közösségi oldalon reagált szerdán arra, hogy hajnalban újabb orosz dróntámadás célpontja volt az ukrán gabonaexport jelentős részét lebonyolító Izmail kikötő, amely 15 kilométernyire található a romániai Tulceától.
„Ezek háborús bűnök, amelyek abban korlátozzák Ukrajnát, hogy az élelmiszereket eljuttassa a világ más országaiba, ahol szükség van rájuk” – írta közösségi oldalán a román elnök.
Az Agerpres román hírügynökség a dél-ukrajnai katonai parancsnokság közleményét idézve azt írta, hogy Oroszország az éjszaka három órán keresztül iráni gyártású Sahid-136-os drónokkal támadta a Duna partján található Izmail kikötői infrastruktúráját, a távirányítású repülőgépek közül négy elérte célját.
A román média felidézte: ez a második orosz dróntámadás, amely Románia és a NATO határától néhány száz méterre lévő ukrán Duna-parti kikötői célpontok ellen irányult, miután múlt hétfőn Izmail, és a romániai Galac városától 13 kilométernyire lévő Reni kikötője ellen intézett dróntámadást az orosz hadsereg.
