Jarosław Kaczynski lengyel miniszterelnök-helyettes kijelentette, hogy Varsó nyitott az Egyesült Államok nukleáris fegyvereinek befogadására a területén, de a kezdeményezésnek Washingtontól kell kiindulnia – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál vasárnap a Deutsche Welle német médiumra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a miniszterelnök-helyettes azt mondta: „ha az amerikaiak arra kérnének minket, hogy az Egyesült Államok nukleáris fegyvereit tároljuk Lengyelországban, nyitottak lennénk rá. Ez nagyban megerősítené Moszkva elrettentését.”
A lengyel politikus szerint jelenleg ilyen kérdés nem merül fel, „ez azonban hamarosan megváltozhat”. „A kezdeményezésnek az amerikaiaktól kell kiindulnia” – hangsúlyozta Jarosław Kaczynski.
