Ha az Európai Unió „megemészthetetlen” és „elfogadhatatlan” szankciókat vezet be Fehéroroszország ellen, akkor elzárjuk a Jamal–Európa tranzit földgázvezetéket – jelentette ki Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnök csütörtökön, adta hírül az unn.com.ua hírportál a Belta belorusz hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a fehérorosz államfő elmondta, hogy Fehéroroszországon át halad az export földgázt szállító Jamal–Európa vezeték, amelyen az utóbbi időben Oroszország jelentős mértékben növelte a Nyugatra irányuló szállítást. „Mi fűtjük Európát, és még ők fenyegetőznek, hogy lezárják a határunkat. És ha mi zárjuk el előlük a földgázt?” – emlékeztetett és kérdezett.
Lukasenka hangsúlyozta: „azt ajánlanám Lengyelország vezetőinek, a litvánoknak és a többi tökfejnek, hogy gondolkodjanak, mielőtt megszólalnak. De ez az ő dolguk. Ha lezárják, hát zárják.” De a fehérorosz külügyminisztériumnak figyelmeztetnie kell mindenkit Európában: amint további „megemészthetetlen” és „elfogadhatatlan” szankciókat vezetnek be, akkor válaszolnunk kell – tette hozzá a belorusz elnök.
