Az elnöki hivatal sajtószolgálata közleménye szerint Olekszij Kuleba megköszönte a nagykövet álláspontját és Japán folyamatos segítségét.
„Jelenleg a partnerország részt vesz az orosz támadások során lerombolt energetikai infrastruktúra helyreállításában. Nagyon fontos, hogy a japán partnerek figyelme Harkiv régióra összpontosuljon. Ez egy olyan régió, amelyet naponta érnek támadások. Az ellenség rendszeresen rombolja a régió kritikus infrastruktúráját. Közösen kell készülnünk a fűtési szezonra, egyesítve erőfeszítéseinket” – jegyezte meg Olekszij Kuleba.
Kuninori Matsuda elítélte a polgári infrastruktúra elleni orosz támadásokat, köztük az Ohmatdit Gyermekkórház elleni közelmúltbeli támadást, és szolidaritását és támogatását fejezte ki Ukrajna iránt.
A találkozó során külön megvitatták az ukrajnai decentralizációs reformot.
