Az izraeli miniszterelnök szerint a nyugati hatalmak nem tehetnek további engedményeket Iránnak.
Izraelt nem kötelezi az Iránnal esetleg megkötendő nukleáris egyezmény – közölte Jaír Lapid izraeli miniszterelnök Emmanuel Macron francia elnöknek telefonbeszélgetésükben a The Times of Israel című angol nyelvű izraeli hírportál hétfői beszámolója szerint.
Az izraeli miniszterelnök egyértelműen Macron tudomására hozta, hogy Izrael ellenzi a 2015-ös egyezséghez történő visszatérést, szerinte a nyugati hatalmak nem tehetnek további engedményeket Iránnak, de ha lesz megállapodás, akkor az nem kötelezi majd Jeruzsálemet.
„Izrael továbbra is mindent elkövet, hogy megakadályozza Iránt a nukleáris képességek megszerzésében” – emelte ki közleményében a beszélgetésben elhangzottakat az izraeli miniszterelnöki hivatal. Az izraeli miniszterelnök kifejtette, hogy az egyezmény felújítása további jelentős pénzeszközöket biztosítana Teheránnak a közel-keleti térségben folytatott terrortevékenysége finanszírozásához.
Bécsben tavaly november óta folytatódnak a tárgyalások az iráni atomprogramról 2015-ben kötött megállapodás megmentésére Teherán és a még részes hatalmak (Franciaország, Nagy-Britannia, Németország, Oroszország és Kína) között.
A tárgyalások egyik célja az Egyesült Államok visszaléptetése a szerződésbe, amelyet Washington 2018-ban egyoldalúan felmondott, és ismét bevezette az atomalku keretében korábban feloldott szankciókat.

A jelentés szerint Jair Lapid izraeli külügyminiszter a külügyminisztériumban ma tartott helyzetértékelése alapján és számos külföldi forrással folytatott egyeztetést követően úgy döntött, hogy utasítja Izrael ukrajnai nagykövetségének munkatársait, hogy költözzenek át a Lembergben megnyitott konzuli irodába.
A lembergi izraeli konzuli iroda csütörtök (február 17.) óta működik, és álltja ki az izraeli állampolgárok úti okmányait, és nyújt segítséget az Ukrajnát elhagyni szándékozó izraelieknek, főként a szomszédos országokkal közös szárazföldi határok átlépéséhez.
Izrael Külügyminisztériuma ismét felszólította az Ukrajnában tartózkodó izraeli állampolgárokat, hogy haladéktalanul hagyják el az országot.
