Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter élesen bírálta egyes amerikai kongresszusi képviselők azon kijelentéseit, amelyek a Joe Biden-kormányzat Ukrajnával kapcsolatos politikájának megváltoztatására és az Oroszországgal való közvetlen tárgyalásokra szólítottak fel – számolt be a Jevropejszka Pravda Kuleba a TSZN-nek adott interjújára hivatkozva.
„A mi álláspontunk egyértelmű: ha önök ilyen dolgokat mondanak, ha úgy gondolják, hogy menők, függetlenül attól, hogy melyik politikai táborhoz tartoznak, akkor ne játszanak diplomáciát, hanem egyenesen mondják meg: azt akarjuk, hogy Oroszország nyerjen, hogy az orosz katonák még több nőt erőszakoljanak meg Ukrajnában, hogy még több, megkínzott ember tömegsírjára bukkanjunk” – mondta a miniszter.
