Az Egyesült Államok szankciókkal sújtotta az iráni államhoz közel álló szervezeteket Irán oroszországi fegyverszállításai miatt – közölte a washingtoni külügyminisztérium.
Az Antony Blinken miniszter aláírásával kiadott dokumentum a büntetőintézkedések pontos indokaként a katonai célokra használt drónok iráni szállítását jelölte meg Oroszország számára, amelyeket – a szöveg szerint – Moszkva polgári infrastruktúra és városok elleni légicsapásokra használ fel.
A külügyminisztérium és vele összhangban az amerikai pénzügyminisztérium lépése három iráni szervezetet érint, az iráni Forradalmi Gárda légierejét, valamint a pilóta nélküli légi eszközöket, drónokat gyártó iráni vállalatokat. Emellett újabb orosz intézményeket és magánszemélyeket is szankcióval sújtott az Egyesült Államok.
