Németország kész kiadni Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnököt a Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróságnak (ICC), amennyiben a területükre kerül – írja az Unian ukrán hírügynökség.
Marco Buschmann német igazságügyi miniszter korábban pozitívan értékelte az ICC döntését, amely szerint nemzetközi elfogatóparancsot adtak ki Vlagyimir Putyin ellen. A miniszter azt is hozzátette, hogy szerinte a bíróságnak mihamarabb az Interpolhoz kellene fordulnia.
Alekszandr Basztrikin, az orosz nyomozóbizottság elnöke arra adott utasítást, hogy a kormány adjon jogi értelmezést a német igazságügyi miniszter nyilatkozatára.

Az Interpol nemzetközi rendőri szervezethez fordult Irán azzal a kéréssel, hogy adjon ki nemzetközi letartóztatási parancsot Donald Trump jelenlegi amerikai elnök ellen, egy évvel azután, hogy Trump utasítására amerikai légicsapásokban megölték Kászim Szulejmáni iráni legfőbb parancsnokot.
Golamhosszein Eszmaili iráni igazságügyi szóvivő kedden közölte, negyvennyolc ember, köztük Trump, amerikai parancsnokok, Pentagon-tisztségviselők és a térségben állomásozó amerikai katonák letartóztatását kérvényezték az Interpolnál.
Eszmaili az iráni állami televízióban elmondta: konstruktív együttműködés zajlik az ügyben a szomszédos Irakkal. Az 1923-ban alapított Interpol 194 tagállama rendőrségének együttműködését hangolja össze. Egy tagállam úgynevezett vörös értesítéssel (red notice) élhet annak érdekében, hogy bizonyos illetők letartóztatására kérjen tagállamokat. A körözött személy a tagállamok kérésére felkerül az Interpol legmagasabb szintű, vörös körözési listájára, de a szervezet meg is tagadhatja a kérést, amennyiben alapszabályával ellentétesnek találja. Szulejmáni, az iráni Forradalmi Gárda Kudsz nevű különleges egységének parancsnoka és Abu Mahdi al-Muhandisz, az iráni támogatású iraki milíciák ernyőszervezetének, a Népi Mozgósítási Erőknek (al-Hasd as-Saabi) a helyettes vezetője 2020. január 3-án vesztette életét amerikai légicsapásokban Bagdad közelében. Haszan Róháni iráni elnök nemzeti hősnek nevezte Szulejmánit, aki legendává vált a térségben meggyilkolását követően. Róháni úgy fogalmazott, Teherán meg fogja bosszulni a parancsnok halálát a maga idejében, ugyanakkor jogi lépéseket is fog tenni Trumppal és a Pentagonnal szemben. Irán korábban elfogatóparancsot adott ki az amerikai elnök ellen.
