Horvátország kijevi nagykövetének bekéretésével reagált Zoran Milanovic horvát elnök Ukrajnával kapcsolatos, az országot korruptnak, a NATO-ba nem valónak nevező keddi kijelentéseire a Külügyminisztérium, bocsánatkérésre szólítva fel az államfőt – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál a Külügyminisztérium sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a Külügyminisztériumban jegyzéket adtak át Anica Jamic horvát nagykövetnek, jelezve, hogy az ukrán fél kategorikusan elfogadhatatlannak tartja Zoran Milanovic mai kijelentéseit Ukrajna alkalmatlanságáról a NATO-tagságára, valamint az Ukrajnának nyújtott támogatás megtagadásáról az orosz agresszió tükrében.
Mint a Külügyminisztérium leszögezte, Milanovic nyilatkozatai az orosz propagandakliséket visszhangozzák, nem felelnek meg Horvátország következetes, Ukrajna szuverenitását és területi integritását támogató hivatalos álláspontjának, sértik a kétoldalú kapcsolatokat, és aláássák az Európai Unió és a NATO egységét a jelenlegi európai biztonsági fenyegetésekkel szemben.
Ukrajna követeli a horvát elnöktől kijelentéseinek nyilvános cáfolatát, valamint azt, hogy a jövőben ne ismételje meg azokat. Ukrajna nagykövete meg fogja tenni a megfelelő lépéseket Zágrábban – emlékeztetett a Külügyminisztérium.
