A jelentés szerint Csernisov jelezte: „Végre itthon. Egy nehéz, de nagyon fontos üzleti út (amely egyes médiumoknak köszönhetően váratlanul népszerűvé vált) véget ért. A jelentés szerint az elnök Csernisovval kapcsolatban megjegyezte, hogy információkat kapott Denisz Smihal miniszterelnöktől. „Smihal azt mondta nekem, hogy üzleti úton van. Két feladata van tőlem, a kormánytól, mindannyiunktól: az első, hogy központokat nyisson különböző országokban, a második pedig a többes állampolgárság. Amennyire én tudom, ezt a két dolgot csinálja. Az üzleti út véget ér, vissza kell térnie, ennyi az egész” – biztosított Volodimir Zelenszkij.
Ezen a héten információk jelentek meg a médiában Olekszij Csernisov nemzetiegység-miniszter, miniszterelnök-helyettes külföldre szökéséről az általa korábban vezetett Régiófejlesztési Minisztériumban folyó korrupciós vizsgálat miatt. A miniszter sajtószolgálata hangsúlyozta, hogy hivatalos üzleti úton van, és hamarosan visszatér. Korábban Smihal is arról biztosította az aggódó közvéleményt, hogy a miniszter fontos feladatokat lát el külföldön.

Biztos vagyok benne, hogy állampolgáraink imádják Ukrajnát, és számukra ez a legjobb ország … De a háború még nem ért véget, az ország számos régiója nem biztonságos. Ezért úgy gondolom, hogy amikor az ukrán lakosság hazatér, elkezdődik az ország gazdaságának beindítása. Ez nagyon fontos számunkra, de amíg tart a háború, nem kérhetem, hogy térjenek haza. Csak egyet mondhatok: minden egyes ember hazatérése segíti Ukrajnát, de még harcolunk, és ezt mindenkinek önállóan kell eldöntenie” – mondta Zelenszkij.
Elmondása szerint az országot azok kell újjáépítsék, akiknek itt van az otthonuk.
„Mi egy szabad ország vagyunk, de egyet jegyezzenek meg, számítunk önökre, szeretnénk, ha ukrán állampolgárok maradnának, és biztos vagyok abban, hogy ez a vágy közös” – tette hozzá az elnök.

A Külügyminisztérium keresi az ukránok hazaszállításának módját, akik jelenleg a háború sújtotta Gázai övezetben tartózkodnak.
Oleh Nyikolenko, a külügyminisztérium szóvivője elmondta: „A Külügyminisztérium tartja a kapcsolatot az ukránokkal, akik kifejezték szándékukat a Gázai övezet elhagyására. Jelenleg 120-an vannak.”
Az izraeli és egyiptomi ukrán nagykövetségek, valamint a Palesztin Nemzeti Adminisztráción belül működő kirendeltség jelenleg a hazaszállítási útvonalakat dolgozza ki.
A külügyminisztérium hozzátette, hogy a helyzetet kiemelt ellenőrzés alatt tartják.
