Az ukrajnai háború hamarosan véget érhet – mondta Robert Fico szlovák miniszterelnök, miután Kínában találkozott Vlagyimir Putyinnal, majd Ungváron Volodimir Zelenszkijjel egyeztetett.
Robert Fico pénteken kijelentette, hogy Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel folytatott tárgyalásai az orosz–ukrán háború mielőbbi befejezésére irányuló reményekhez kapcsolódnak. A szlovák kormányfő azon a sajtótájékoztatón beszélt erről, amelyet Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel közösen tartottak az ungvári találkozójuk után (az elhangzottak egy részéről ebben a cikkben már írtunk).
Az Ukrajinszka Pravda beszámolója szerint Fico a sajtótájékoztatót egy pontján úgy fogalmazott a konfliktussal kapcsolatban: „Ismétlem, lehet, hogy eltérőek a véleményeink, de hisszük, hogy a háború véget ér, nagyon hamar véget ér, és hogy a kapcsolatok az Oroszországi Föderációval normalizálódnak”.
„Egyszerűen csak előre szeretnénk megbeszélni az előttünk álló lehetőségeket és feladatokat” – tette hozzá.
Robert Fico emellett elmondta, hogy a Putyinnal, Kínában tartott találkozójukon az Oroszország és Szlovákia közötti „kétoldalú együttműködés” volt a fő téma. Emellett „teljesen valótlannak” minősítette azokat a híreket, miszerint valamilyen Ukrajna elleni „energiaellátási blokádról” tárgyalt volna a Kreml vezetőjével.
„Ez egyáltalán nem volt a tárgyalások témája Vlagyimir Putyinnal. Elsősorban a Szlovákia és az Oroszországi Föderáció közötti kétoldalú együttműködésről tárgyaltunk” – tette hozzá Robert Fico.

Zelenszkij megköszönte Trump erőfeszítéseit a háború befejezése érdekében. Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök nem tárgyalt a háború befejezésének modelljeiről Joe Biden amerikai vezetővel washingtoni látogatása során – jelentette ki pénteken Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter az rbc.ua hírportálnak adott interjújában.
A kiadvány riporterének felvetésére, miszerint a The Washington Post című amerikai lap arról számolt be, hogy az Egyesült Államoknak három különböző modellje van az ukrajnai háború tárgyalásos befejezéséről, Kuleba azt mondta: „ezekről a modellekről nem esett szó a Biden és Zelenszkij elnök közötti tárgyalásokon. Az amerikai fél egyetlen modell kérdését sem vetette fel.”
Az ukrán diplomácia vezetője megjegyezte: „százszázalékosan eredményes látogatás volt, de az elnök felkészültségének és az ukrán diplomáciának köszönhetően lett az, és az Egyesült Államok is azt akarta, hogy ez a látogatás 100 százalékosan sikeres legyen.” Hozzátette, hogy Ukrajna álláspontja a lehető legvilágosabb: Ukrajna nemzetközileg elismert határai. „És egyetlen négyzetcentiméternyi ukrán föld sem lesz diplomáciai vagy katonai engedmény tárgya” – hangsúlyozta Dmitro Kuleba.
