A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij feltette a zsidó államnak a kérdést: „nem jött-e el az ideje, hogy Izrael eldöntse, hogy kivel van? Vagy a demokratikus világgal, amely vállvetve küzd a létezését fenyegető egzisztenciális veszély ellen? Vagy azokkal, akik szemet hunynak az orosz terror fölött, még akkor is, ha az ára a folyamatos terror, a globális biztonság teljes lerombolása?” Hozzátette: „hiszem, hogy Izrael méltányos választ fog adni kérdéseimre.”



Az elnök mindenesetre megköszönte Izrael népének a megértését és segítségét, beleértve az orvosi támogatást, valamint az ország médiáját, amely az igazságot terjeszti Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborújáról, és elítéli az orosz terrort. „Mi láttuk: támogatnak minket az ígéret földjén. Hiszem, hogy az égben is látni fogjuk a támogatást” – célzott a kért izraeli légvédelmi támogatásra Volodimir Zelenszkij.
