Fumio Kishida japán miniszterelnök kedden Ukrajnában tesz látogatást, és megbeszélést folytat Volodimir Zelenszkij elnökkel – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az NHK japán tévécsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a japán kormány és a kormánypárt képviselői arról tájékoztatták a tévécsatornát, hogy az indiai látogatáson tartózkodó kormányfő már úton van Kijev felé. Japán vezetőjének ez az első látogatása Ukrajnában, miután 2022 februárjában megkezdődött a teljes körű orosz invázió.
Japán újságírók megjegyezték, hogy Kishida maradt az egyetlen a G7-országok vezetői közül, aki még nem tett Kijevben látogatást. Egyúttal emlékeztettek arra, hogy utoljára Japán miniszterelnöke és Zelenszkij december 6-án beszélt egymással telefonon.

„Oroszország magatartása, amely nukleáris fegyverek bevetésével fenyeget, komoly fenyegetést jelent a nemzetközi közösség békéjére és biztonságára nézve, és teljesen elfogadhatatlan” – mondta Kishida.
