A Fidesz és a Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt (KDNP) európai parlamenti (EP-) képviselői minden uniós parlamenti szakbizottságban helyet kaptak és lehetőségük lesz képviselni a magyarok érdekeit – tájékoztatott a Fidesz–KDNP európai parlamenti képviselőcsoportja pénteken.
Közleményében a képviselőcsoport arról tájékoztatott, hogy az Európai Parlament plenáris ülésének pénteki munkanapján bejelentették az egyes bizottságok és albizottságok tagjainak listáját.
A tájékoztatás szerint a Fidesz–KDNP európai parlamenti képviselőcsoportjának tagjai az alábbi szakbizottságok munkájában vesznek részt:
Deutsch Tamás a költségvetési bizottság (BUDG), költségvetési ellenőrző bizottság (CONT) és regionális fejlesztési bizottság (REGI) munkájában vesz részt.
Ferenc Viktória a környezetvédelmi, közegészségügyi és élelmiszer-biztonsági bizottságban (ENVI), a nőjogi és esélyegyenlőségi bizottságban (FEMM), valamint a külügyi bizottság (AFET) dolgozik majd.
Gál Kinga a külügyi bizottság (AFET), az állampolgári jogi, bel- és igazságügyi bizottság (LIBE) munkáját segíti majd.
Győrffy Balázs a mezőgazdasági és vidékfejlesztési bizottságban (AGRI), valamint a halászati bizottságban (PECH) foglal helyet.
Győri Enikő a nemzetközi kereskedelmi bizottság (INTA), gazdasági és monetáris bizottság (ECON) és az adóügyi albizottság (FISC) munkájában vesz részt.
Gyürk András az ipari, kutatási és energiaügyi bizottságban (ITRE), valamint a kulturális és oktatási bizottságban (CULT) foglal majd helyet.
Hölvényi György a fejlesztési bizottság (DEVE), a környezetvédelmi, közegészségügyi és élelmiszer-biztonsági bizottság (ENVI) és a biztonság- és védelempolitikai albizottság (SEDE) munkáját segíti.
László András az állampolgári jogi, bel- és igazságügyi bizottság, emberi jogi albizottság (LIBE), az emberi jogi albizottság (DROI), külügyi bizottság (AFET), valamint az ipari, kutatási és energiaügyi bizottság munkájában vesz részt.

Továbbra is Orbán Viktor marad Magyarország miniszterelnöke. Az egyelőre nem végleges adatok alapján, 98,96%-os feldolgozottságnál a Fidesz–KDNP listájára szavazott a választók 53,10%-a, míg az ellenzéki összefogás listájára csak 35,04%. Bejutott még a magyar parlamentbe a választáson 6,17%-ot elért Mi Hazánk mozgalom is. Az előzetes mandátumbecslés szerint az új magyar parlamentben a Fidesznek 135, a baloldalnak 56, a Mi Hazánknak 7, a magyarországi német nemzetiségnek pedig 1 mandátuma lesz. A hivatalos végeredmény április 9-re várható.
Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök a kormánypárt eredményváró rendezvényén kijelentette: „Hatalmas győzelmet arattunk, akkorát, hogy még a Holdról is látszik, de Brüsszelből egészen biztosan.” Köszönetet mondott a magyar választópolgároknak, az önkénteseknek, és külön köszöntötte a határon túli magyarokat, a kárpátaljaiaknak azt üzente, hogy tartsanak ki, ne féljenek, az anyaország velük van.
A miniszterelnök végezetül elmondta, az egész világ láthatta, hogy a magyarok szeretik a hazájukat, és mi, akik ma győztünk, azt vállaljuk, hogy számunkra mindig Magyarország lesz az első.
„A Jóisten mindannyiunk fölött, Magyarország mindenekelőtt. Hajrá, Magyarország! Hajrá, magyarok!” – zárta miniszterelnök.
