Két nap hallgatás és több rosszalló külföldi reagálás után pénteken Ukrajna Külügyminisztériuma is elítélte a Galícia SS-hadosztály megalakulásának évfordulója alkalmából szerdán Kijev belvárosában tartott emlékmenetet – adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál a külügyi tárca sajtószóvivőjének nyilatkozatára hivatkozva.
Mint Oleh Nyikolenko elmondta, Ukrajna Külügyminisztériuma határozottan elítéli a Waffen-SS alakulatok bárminemű glorifikálását. A totalitariánus rezsimek, közte a náci rendszerek propagálása Ukrajnában tilos – mutatott rá.
A sajtószóvivő azt is közölte, hogy Ukrajna egy hét múlva emlékezik meg azon ukránok és más népek képviselőinek millióiról, akik a náciknak estek áldozatul. „Gondoskodnunk kell arról, hogy a náci bűnök bármilyen igazolásával szemben nulla tolerancia legyen az ukrán állam és társadalom részéről” – hangsúlyozta Oleh Nyikolenko.
Mint honlapunk is beszámolt róla, csütörtökön Izrael Külügyminisztériuma aggodalmát fejezte ki a Galícia Waffen-SS hadosztály megalakulásának évfordulója alkalmából szerdán Kijev belvárosában megtartott emlékmenet miatt, egyben elvárását fejezte ki az ukrán kormány felé, hogy ítélje el a hasonló akciókat.
Ugyancsak megírtuk, hogy első ízben tartottak emlékmenetet az ukrán fővárosban a második világháborúban a náci Németország oldalán harcolt Galícia SS-hadosztály tiszteletére.A felvonuláson olyan nacionalista szervezetek tagjai vesznek részt, mint a Jövő Társadalma, Jobb Szektor, Szvoboda párt, továbbá a Galícia SS-hadosztály egykori katonáinak unokái, az ATO-s Veteránok Szövetsége, az Ukrán Katonai Becsület nevű militarista szervezet.
