Az Európai Parlament elsöprő többséggel fogadta el azt a határozatot, amely arra buzdítja az EU tagállamait, hogy törekedjenek Ukrajna tagjelölt státuszának megadására.
A hírt a Jevropejszka Pravda közölte.
A határozatot 637 igen szavazattal fogadták el, mindössze 13 képviselő szavazott nemmel, 26-an tartózkodtak.
A határozat elítéli Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborúját, követeli, hogy Oroszország vonja ki összes katonáját Ukrajna területéről, és felszólítja az uniós intézményeket, hogy tegyenek lépéseket Ukrajna EU-tagjelölti státuszának megadása érdekében.
