Németország bírálja az Európai Unió azon tervét, hogy 20 milliárd eurót folyósít Ukrajnának katonai szükségletekre négy év leforgása alatt – értesült az Reuters brit hírügynökség, számolt be szombaton az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Josep Borrell, az Európai Unió kül- és biztonságpolitikai főképviselő javaslatot tette arra, hogy a támogatást hosszú távú alapokra helyezzék egy Ukrajna megsegítésére szolgáló alap létrehozásával a nagyobb Európai Békalap keretein belül.
Egy meg nem nevezett magas rangú EU-diplomata azonban azt mondta a hírügynökségnek azt mondta, hogy Németországnak „sok kérdése van, és ez igazságos”, mert nagy pénzekről van szó. „Nem mondom, hogy az ötlet halott, de mindig lehet javítani rajta” – mutatott rá a diplomata.
