A béke eléréséhez meg kell erősíteni és fejleszteni kell az Európai Unió védelmi kapacitását, amely hozzájárul Ukrajna megsegítéséhez. Ukrajnának lőszerekre van szüksége, hogy meg tudja védeni magát, az EU pedig közös beszerzés útján segíti lőszerekhez ukrán barátait – mondta az Európai Tanács elnöke.
