Az ukrán elnök vasárnap hajnalban kijelentette: „Biztos vagyok benne, hogy katonáink választ adnak Oroszországnak erre a terrortámadásra – méghozzá figyelemre méltó választ.”

A Reuters jelentése szerint Zelenszkij azt is elmondta éjszakai videóbeszédében, amelyet vasárnap hajnalban mondott el svédországi látogatása végén, hogy a 144 sérült közül 15 gyerek volt, és a meggyilkolt lányt Szófiának nevezték-számol be róla a Guardien.

A Csernyihiv központja elleni szombati rakétatámadás az oka annak, hogy Ukrajna egyesíti a világot a terrorista Oroszországi Föderáció ellen – közölte Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij azt írta: „Ez az, amikor a szomszédságban egy terrorista állam van, ez az, ami ellen egyesítjük az egész világot. Egy orosz rakéta csapódott be a város központjába, a mi Csernyihivünk központjába. A térbe, a műszaki egyetembe, a színházba. Egy hétköznapi szombat, amelyet Oroszország a fájdalom és veszteség napjává változtatott. Vannak halottak, vannak sebesültek. Részvétem a hozzátartozóknak.”
Az elnök szerint jelenleg mentők, rendfenntartók és orvosok dolgoznak a tragédia helyszínén. Hozzátette: Ukrajna mindent megtesz annak érdekében, hogy megszilárdítsa a világot az orosz terrorral szemben, és megvédje az ukránokat. „Oroszországnak el kell veszítenie ezt a háborút, hogy az élet győzhessen” – szögezte le Volodimir Zelenszkij.
