Ukrajna C-RAM légvédelmi rendszerek átadását kérte az Egyesült Államoktól az ukrán fegyveres erők számára az iráni drónok elleni küzdelemhez – közölte kedden az rbc.ua hírportál az ABC News amerikai televízióra hivatkozva.






A jelentés szerint az ukrán kérést Ruszlan Sztefancsuk, a Legfelső tanács elnöke levélben továbbította az amerikai Kongresszusnak. Mint írásában a házelnök rámutatott, Amerikának el kell kezdenie felszerelni Ukrajnát rendkívül mobil C-RAM légvédelmi rendszerekkel, mivel ezek segítenek megvédeni a fontos objektumokat, elsősorban a fontos erőműveket.



A C-RAM légvédelmi rendszer beépített célkövető radarral rendelkezik. A rendszer nagy gyorstüzelő ágyúval is fel van szerelve. A C-RAM percenként körülbelül 4500 lövést tud leadni.



Az ABC News jelentése szerint az amerikai védelmi minisztérium nem volt hajlandó nyilvánosságra hozni az Ukrajnának szánt fegyverek listájának a tartalmát, de a Pentagon szóvivője, Garron Harn megjegyezte, hogy az Egyesült Államok támogatása az ukrajnai háború tekintetében releváns felszerelésekre összpontosul. „Éjjel-nappal azon dolgozunk, hogy teljesítsük Ukrajna kiemelt védelmi támogatási kéréseit, és olyan fegyvereket szállítsunk az amerikai raktárakból, amelyek rendelkezésre állnak” – hangsúlyozta a szóvivő.
