Március végétől Észtország többé nem fogja elismerni az Oroszország által kiadott útleveleket, amelyek nem biometrikusak.






Az Észt Külügyminisztérium kijelentette, hogy azok, akik tartózkodási engedéllyel rendelkeznek Észtországban vagy más uniós országban, és jelenleg nem biometrikus orosz útlevelet használnak, 2025. szeptember 30-ig kérhetik a biometrikus útlevél kiállítását.



Elmagyarázták, hogy az egyszerű útlevelek nem tartalmaznak elektronikus adatokat, ezért nem lehet összehasonlítani a tulajdonos személyes adatait a chipen található adatokkal.
