Alekszandr Lukasenko önjelölt fehérorosz elnök megfenyegette Lengyelországot Nyugat-Ukrajna állítólagos annektálási terve miatt, kijelentve, hogy nem engedheti meg a lengyeleknek Fehéroroszország bekerítését – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál pénteken a Belta fehérorosz hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Lukasenko azt állította, hogy Lengyelország már Nyugat-Ukrajnáról „álmodozik”. „Itt reagálnunk kell. Mert egyáltalán nem engedhetjük meg, hogy a lengyelek bekerítsenek minket. Ez egy veszélyes lehetőség. Én valamikor azt mondtam: az ukránok megkérnek minket az oroszokkal együtt, hogy segítsünk nekik megőrizni országuk integritását. Hogy ne annektálják” – emlékeztetett.
A fehérorosz rezsim vezetője ismét fogadkozott, hogy nem küld csapatokat Ukrajnába. Mint hangsúlyozta, Fehéroroszországnak nem szabad belekevernie ebbe a konfliktusba, és nem szabad „háborút” kezdenie. „Meg kell védenünk ezt a földdarabot (Fehéroroszországot – a szerk.). Eddig, hála Istennek, sikerült. Nekem az a lényeg, hogy ne nyakig legyek ebben az ukrán konfliktusban, hanem az, hogy hamarabb véget érjen” – mutatott rá.
Alekszandr Lukasenko egyúttal megfenyegette Ukrajnát is, hogy amennyiben az ukrán csapatok átlépik a fehérorosz határt, vagy ha lövetni fogják a moziri kőolaj-finomítót, akkor azonnal válaszcsapást mér Kijevre.
