A jelentés szerint Zaluzsnij jelezte, hogy telefonbeszélgetést folytatott Mark Milley tábornokkal, az amerikai vezérkari főnökök egyesített bizottságának elnökével, és megköszönte az Egyesült Államok Ukrajnának nyújtott segítségét. „Biztosítottam, hogy addig harcolunk, amíg bírjuk erővel. Célunk, hogy az összes ukrán földet felszabadítsuk az orosz megszállás alól. Ezen az úton semmiképp nem állunk meg.”
Mint a főparancsnok hangsúlyozta: az ukrán hadsereg nem fogad el semmilyen tárgyalást, megállapodást vagy kompromisszumot. „A tárgyalások egyetlen feltétele, hogy Oroszországnak el kell hagynia minden elfoglalt területet” – húzta alá Valerij Zaluzsnij. Hozzátette, hogy jelentett amerikai kollégájának a hadműveleti helyzetről és az ukrán hadsereg kiemelt igényeiről.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy korábban Milley kijelentette, hogy Herszon felszabadítása után „lehetőségek ablaka” nyílt meg az Ukrajna és Oroszország közötti tárgyalások előtt.

A jelentés szerint az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnoka megköszönte az Egyesült Államoknak az ukrán nép függetlenségi harcához nyújtott támogatásukat. Zaluzsnyij az operatív helyzetről is tájékoztatta beszélgetőpartnereit, és megjegyezte, hogy a helyzet feszült, de teljesen az ukrán hadsereg ellenőrzése alatt áll.
Cavoli és Milley tábornokok nagyra értékelték az ukrán fegyveres erők tevékenységét, és az USA folyamatos támogatásáról, így további katonai segítségnyújtásról biztosították Ukrajnát.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy az ukrán csapatok már mintegy 8 ezer négyzetkilométernyi megszállt területet szabadítottak fel. A stabilizációs intézkedések a visszafoglalt területek felén már megtörténtek.

A jelentés szerint bejegyzésében a brit főparancsnok azt írta: „48 órás látogatásom lehetővé tette számomra, hogy jobban megértsem a műveleti perspektívát, és megvitassuk, hogyan tudja Nagy-Britannia továbbra is támogatni Ukrajnát, és hogyan segíthetünk más nemzetközi partnereknek és szövetségeseknek az ukrán fegyveres erők támogatásában a következő hetekben és hónapokban.”
Tony Radakin felhívta a figyelmet az ukrán fegyveres erők bátorságára, rugalmasságára és találékonyságára is, amellyel szembeszálltak Oroszország törvénytelen és barbár agressziójával.
Mint hírportálunk június 17-én beszámolt róla, Tony Radakin tengernagy, a brit fegyveres erők vezetője egy lapinterjúban kijelentette, hogy Oroszország már „stratégiailag elvesztette” az Ukrajna elleni háborút, súlyos veszteségeket szenved, kifogyott a csapatokból és a fejlett rakétákból, és soha nem lesz képes egész Ukrajnát elfoglalni. Az admirális azt állította, hogy az orosz szárazföldi erők negyedét már megsemmisítették, és csak annyit sikerült elérniük, hogy elfoglalják a területek egy kis részét. Úgy vélte, Oroszországnak jelentős veszteségei vannak, a csapatok és a rakéták a végükhöz közelednek, és soha nem fogja tudni elfoglalni egész Ukrajnát. „Ez egy szörnyű hiba Oroszország részéről. Oroszország soha nem fogja átvenni Ukrajna irányítását” – biztosított Tony Radakin.

A jelentés szerint Zaluzsnij a bejegyzésében azt írta: „az Egyesült Államok vezérkari főnökeinek egyesített bizottsága elnökével, Mark Milley tábornokkal folytatott telefonos megbeszélésem során érintettük az ukrán fegyveres erők stratégiai feladatai végrehajtásának kérdését, amelynek fő eleme a megszállt ukrán területek felszabadítása a nemzetközileg elismert határokon belül.” Az ukrán fegyvere erők főparancsnoka amerikai partnerének hangsúlyozta, hogy az ukrán védekezés és ellentámadás sikerének fontos feltétele a megfelelő anyagi és technikai erőforrások biztosítása.
Milley tábornok kiemelte ukrán kollégájának, hogy Joe Biden amerikai elnök és Lloyd Austin védelmi miniszter biztosított arról, hogy az Egyesült Államok mindaddig fogja támogatni Ukrajnát, ameddig szükséges.
Valerij Zaluzsnyij megjegyezte, hogy Mark Milley büszke Ukrajna fegyveres erőire és az ukrán népre.
Mint hírportálunk június 28-án beszámolt róla, Zaluzsnij bejelentette, hogy egyeztetett az Ukrajnát ért orosz rakétatámadásokról és a front hadműveleti helyzetéről amerikai és brit kollégájával. „Tegnap este telefonbeszélgetést folytattam Mark Milley tábornokkal, az amerikai vezérkari főnökök egyesített bizottságának elnökével és Sir Tony Radakin admirálissal, Nagy-Britannia Védelmi Minisztériuma vezérkari főnökével” – tájékoztatott. Egyúttal reményét fejezte ki nekik, hogy a partnerekkel együtt sikerül legyőzni az agresszort, és megakadályozni, hogy a konfliktus átterjedjen más országokra.

A jelentés szerint Zaluzsnij azt írta: „nagyon nehéz nekünk, de tartjuk magunkat. Harcolunk a front minden egyes szakaszáért, minden településért. A nyugati fegyverek és haditechnika segít kiűzni az ellenséget földünkről.”
A főparancsnok hozzátette: hálásak vagyunk a nemzetközi technikai segítségért. „Ugyanakkor nagy szükségünk van olyan fegyverekre, amelyek képesek lesznek nagy távolságból eltalálni az ellenséget. Mint a főparancsnok megjegyezte, az ukrán hadsereg nem tervez támadást, mivel az számos áldozattal járna a polgári lakosság körében. Hozzátette: még most is, amikor a fegyveresek aktívan ágyúzzák az ukrán állásokat, az Egyesített Erők katonái csak a legénység vagy a civilek életének veszélyeztetése esetén válaszolnak.

Mint az altábornagy az interjúban elmondta: „nekem, mint katonaembernek, nem tetszik ez a 100 ezres szám. Higgye el, holnapután ez a szám elérheti a 210 ezret, egy hét múlva pedig 780 ezret, Oroszországnak erre minden lehetősége megvan.”
Az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnoka szerint ma az orosz agresszor csaknem egymillió katonája fenyegeti Ukrajnát. De mint megjegyezte, bebizonyította a NATO-partnereknek, hogy az Ukrajna elleni teljes körű orosz invázió veszélye nem illúzió. „Beszéljünk erről őszintén és nyíltan: most Oroszország hadseregével van dolgunk, amelynek ma közel egymillió katonája van. Ma azt mondtam NATO-partnereinknek, hogy ez nem illúzió, hanem valós fenyegetés. Érdemes megfontolni, hogy egy agresszor állammal állunk szemben, amelynek csaknem egymillió katonája van” – mutatott rá Valerij Zaluzsnij.

Változatlan a helyzet Oroszország és Ukrajna határán az orosz–amerikai tárgyalások után, az ukrán hírszerzés nem észlelt semmilyen orosz csapatmozgást – jelentette ki Valerij Zaluzsnij, az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnoka hétfőn az Ukrinform hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva.
Mint a tábornok az interjúban elmondta: „most nem tudom megmondani, hogy megmondjam, csökkent-e a feszültség vagy sem. A titkosszolgálati adatok szerint ott nem történt mozgás, nem tapasztaltuk az orosz katonai jelenlét csökkenését a határainkon.”
A főparancsnok megjegyezte, hogy tetszett neki a NATO határozott válasza, amelyet Oroszország a tárgyalások eredményeként kapott. „Nagyon fontos látnunk, ahogy a Nyugat konszolidálódott e fenyegetés körül, és már megtette az első lépést, hogy reagáljon rá. Ez nagyon jó, és köszönetet mondtam a NATO egyesített fegyveres erői főparancsnokának az ilyen elvi álláspontért. Ezt a nagyszerű álláspontot mindenképpen be fogom mutatni a parancsnokaimnak” – hangsúlyozta Valerij Zaluzsnij.

Ukrajna bevezette a NATO-szabványokat, és az ország teljes mértékben felkészült a belépésre, de a végleges döntést erről az Észak-atlanti Szövetségnek kell meghoznia – közölte Valerij Zaluzsnij, a fegyveres erők főparancsnoka egy vasárnapi rádióinterjúban, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Zaluzsnij az ukrán Szabadság Rádiónak nyilatkozva hangsúlyozta: „mi gyakorlatilag teljes mértékben megvalósítottuk ezeket a szabványokat, amelyek szerint a NATO a feladatait végrehajtja. De ez kevés. Ahhoz, hogy NATO-taggá váljunk, a véleményem szerint, politikai döntés szükséges.” Kiemelte: „mi már készen állunk. Beléphetünk, úgymond.”
A főparancsnok emlékeztetett arra is, hogy a NATO-szabványok kedvéért Ukrajnában különválasztották a fegyveres erők parancsnoki tisztségeit, így a fegyveres erők főparancsnoki, vezérkari főnöki, Egyesített Erők Művelete parancsnoki posztjaira. „Ezek a szétválasztott tisztségek a NATO-hoz, a civilizált viszonyokhoz történő közeledést szolgálják” – mutatott rá. „Én most a fegyveres erők főparancsnokaként a fegyveres erők harckészségéért, felkészítéséért és bevetéséért felelek” – jegyezte meg Valerij Zaluzsnij.
