A NATO-főtitkár a tervek szerint megbeszélést folytat Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel. A látogatásról azonban még nincs részletes terv. Azt sem tudni, hogy Zelenszkij és Stoltenberg pontosan milyen témákat vitat meg.

Nemcsak az Egyesült Államokban, hanem Ukrajnában sem talált megértő fülekre a brazil elnök, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva utóbbi napokban adott nyilatkozata.
A röviden csak Lulának hívott brazil elnök a hónap elején még azzal került a hírekbe, hogy kifejtette: szerinte Ukrajnának le kellene mondania a Krím félszigetről a béke érdekében, míg a hétvégén kínai hivatalos útján felszólította az Egyesült Államokat és az Európai Uniót, hogy hagyjon fel a háború bátorításával azzal, hogy fegyvert ad Ukrajnának. Hétfőn pedig Brazíliában az orosz külügyminisztert, Szergej Lavrovot fogadva arról beszélt: Kína vezetésével kellene béketárgyalásra biztatni a két háborúzó felet.
Az amerikai Nemzetbiztonsági Tanács szóvivője emiatt a brazil elnökről azt állította, hogy orosz és kínai propagandát terjeszt, amit a brazil külügyminiszter elutasított.
Most azonban az ukrán külügy is megszólalt az ügyben, méghozzá rögtön meghívták a brazil elnököt Ukrajnába – számolt be a Politico.
Mint azt az ukrán külügy szóvivője, Oleg Nyikolenko Facebook-bejegyzésében írja, Ukrajna érdeklődve figyeli Lula erőfeszítéseit a háború befejezése érdekében, ugyanakkor szerinte arányt téveszt, amikor az agresszor Oroszországot és a védekező Ukrajnát, illetve az ő segítségére siető országok felelősségét azonos mércével méri.
Ezért meghívták Lulát Ukrajnába, hogy személyesen szerezhessen információkat a háborúról, illetve „megértse az orosz agresszió valódi okait és esszenciáját, valamint a globális biztonságra gyakorolt következményeit” – zárta bejegyzését a szóvivő.

A kárpátaljai magyar közösséget érintő nyelvhasználati és oktatási kérdések szabályozásáról tárgyalt az Ukrán Oktatási Minisztériumban Magyar Levente külügyi államtitkár. A 2017-es ukrán oktatási törvény miatt Ukrajnában veszélybe került a nemzetiségi kisebbségek anyanyelven való tanulása, a jogszabály ugyanis fokozatos áttérést ír elő az ukrán nyelvre. A kijevi illetékesek azt ígérték, hogy folytatják a párbeszédet. Magyar Levente emlékeztetett arra, hogy már a 2014-es forradalom után elindult egy olyanfajta ukrán jogalkotási folyamat, amelyet a kárpátaljai magyarság több szempontból sérelmezett. Hozzátette: A háború ugyan átírta a fontossági sorrendet és a humanitárius segítségnyújtás került előtérbe, most azonban eljött a lehetőség egy olyan megoldás kidolgozására, amely elfogadható lehet mindenki számára. Magyar Levente az ukrán elnöki hivatalban is tárgyalt. Mint fogalmazott: korábban nem tapasztalt mértékű nyitottsággal találkozott, így reményei szerint végre sikerülhet megnyugtatóan rendezni az ukrán-magyar kapcsolatokat megterhelő kérdéskört. Az államtitkár Kijevben egyeztetett az ukrajnai újjáépítési munkálatokról, valamint Magyarország Ukrajnának nyújtott humanitárius támogatásáról az országon belül, illetve a Magyarországra menekült ukrán közösség vonatkozásában is.

Kisida kedden dél körül érkezett meg vonattal az ukrán fővárosba, ahol Emine Dzsaparova ukrán külügyminiszter-helyettes és Japán nagykövete találkozott fogadta. Kisida és Zelenszkij várhatóan megvitatják Japán támogatását Ukrajna újjáépítése terén.
Kisida volt az egyetlen G7-vezető, aki még nem járt Ukrajnában Oroszország 2022 februári inváziója óta.

Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezetének jövője éppen most dől el Ukrajnában, mert Ukrajna most az ENSZ Alapokmányának céljait és elveit védi – jelentette ki szerdán Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök az António Guterres ENSZ-főtitkárral folytatott kijevi tárgyalásokat követő sajtótájékoztatóján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Zelenszkij elmondta: „Jelenleg és Ukrajna az ENSZ Alapokmányának céljait és alapelveit védi. Ezért most és pontosan Ukrajnában dől el, mi lesz az ENSZ jövője és mi lesz az ENSZ globális szerepe.”
Ezenkívül az elnök személyesen mondott köszönetet Guterresnek, csapatának és mindenkinek az ENSZ-ben, aki megérti az egyetemes értékek és a nemzetközi rend védelmének szükségességét. Zelenszkij megjegyezte, hogy az ENSZ Közgyűlés tagállamainak túlnyomó többsége nemrégiben jóváhagyta az Ukrajna és a partnerországok által javasolt, „az ENSZ Alapokmányának alapelvei az átfogó, igazságos és fenntartható ukrajnai békét megalapozó” határozatot.
„Hálás vagyok António Guterresnek, amiért egyértelműen elítélte az orosz agressziót, mint az ENSZ Alapokmányának súlyos megsértését. Ma reményemet fejeztem ki, hogy főtitkár úr személyes vezetése segít határozatunk végrehajtásában, ami az ENSZ-főtitkár megbízatása. Az ENSZ Közgyűlés mandátuma valójában már létezik” – mutatott rá Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Joe Biden amerikai elnök hétfői kijevi látogatása a legfontosabb a két ország kapcsolatainak történetében, amikor Ukrajna az egész szabad világot védi, és tárgyalások eredményei az ország védelmének megerősítésében lesz érezhető – jelentette ki Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök Kijevben az amerikai kollégájával, Joe Bidennel közösen tartott sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Ukrajna elnöke azt mondta: „Az amerikai elnök 15 év óta első ukrajnai látogatása a legfontosabb az ukrán–amerikai kapcsolatok történetében. Ebben az időszakban, mert ez az időszak a legnehezebb időszak, amikor államunk a szabadságáért és minden európai, a szabad világ minden polgárának a szabadságáért küzd.”
Az államfő úgy vélte, „eredményes tárgyalásokat” folytatott az amerikai elnökkel, és ennek a látogatásnak az eredménye minden bizonnyal Ukrajna védelmi képességeinek erősítésében is érezhető lesz. „Megbeszéltük a nagy hatótávolságú fegyverek és az Ukrajnába szállítható további fegyverek kérdését is” – hangsúlyozta Volodimir Zelenszkij, megjegyezve, hogy „az orosz bosszúkísérleteknek nem lesz esélyük”.

A hírt Jevropejszka pravda közölte holland sajtóorgánumokra, köztük a NOS-ra hivatkozva.
Megjegyzik, hogy Rutte már tisztelgett Ukrajna elesett védőinek emléke előtt a Szent Mihály-székesegyház emlékfalánál, és a tervek szerint találkozik Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel is.

A tengerentúli kiadvány a látogatás részleteit ismerő tisztviselőkre hivatkozva azt írta, hogy az amerikai tisztviselő megosztotta Zelenszkijjel Oroszország jövőbeli katonai terveivel kapcsolatos várakozásait.
„A találkozót követően Zelenszkij megértette, hogy továbbra is erős Kijev támogatása Washington részéről, és a Kongresszus által 2022 decemberében elfogadott 45 milliárd dolláros finanszírozás legalább júliusig vagy augusztusig folytatódik” – írja a WP.
Ugyanakkor Burns felhívta a figyelmet a pillanat élességére a harctéren, és elismerte, hogy a Kongresszusi Képviselőház republikánus párti irányítása miatt egy adott pillanatban nehezebb lehet megkapni a segítséget.
Burnsnek egyébként nem ez az első titkos látogatása Kijevben. Utoljára novemberben kereste fel ily módon Ukrajnát.
