Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök szombaton Kijevben találkozott Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnökkel – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál Zelenszkij Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Sánchez szimbolikus napon – Spanyolország európai uniós elnökségének első napján – érkezett Ukrajnába. Az ukrán elnök megköszönte a spanyol kormányfőnek a támogatását. „Közös európai otthonunk nem képzelhető el Ukrajna nélkül, a szabadság és az igazságosság melletti bátor kiállásunk és elkötelezettségünk nélkül” – írta Volodimir Zelenszkij.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy ma Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnök munkalátogatásra érkezett Kijevbe. A kormányfő látogatásának célja Ukrajna támogatásának erősítése. Sánchez felszólalt a Legfelső Tanácsban is. Arról biztosított, hogy Spanyolország támogatja Ukrajnát az Oroszország elleni harcban és az Európai Unió, valamint a NATO felé vezető úton.
Sánchez új, 55 millió eurós segélycsomagot is bejelentett. Ebből 51 millió a Világbankon keresztül érkezik az ukrajnai kis- és középvállalkozások támogatására. A többit iskolák helyreállítására fordítják.

A spanyol kormányfő közzétett egy videót a kijevi vasúti pályaudvarról, ahol ukrán fogadó-bizottság várta. „Minden európai szolidaritást közvetítek Ukrajna kormánya és parlamentje felé. Támogatjuk az ukrán népet, amíg helyre nem áll a béke Európában” – írta Sánchez.
Jelenleg Spanyolország elnököl az Európai Unió Tanácsában. Sánchez látogatásának célja, hogy megerősítse Spanyolország és az Európai Unió támogatását Ukrajnának.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnök nem először látogat Ukrajnába Oroszország teljes körű inváziójának a kezdete óta. Spanyolország támogatta Ukrajnát az orosz agresszor elleni harcban. Az ország pénzügyi, katonai és humanitárius segítséget nyújtott, valamint támogatta az Oroszország elleni uniós szankciókat. Ukrán katonákat is kiképeznek Spanyolországban.
A közelmúltban a spanyol védelmi minisztérium bejelentette, hogy az ukrán hadseregnek újabb katonai támogatást nyújt. Madrid 20 páncélozott szállítójárművet, egy tábori kórházat és négy javítás alatt álló Leopard 2A4 harckocsit ad Ukrajnának.

William Burns, a CIA igazgatója június elején titokban Ukrajnába látogatott, ahol ismertették vele a megszállt ukrán területek felszabadítását célzó terveket – írta szombaton a The Washington Post című amerikai lap, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
Az újság forrásai szerint Burns utazása titkos volt. A látogatás során találkozott Volodimir Zelenszkij elnökkel és az ukrán hírszerzés legfelsőbb vezetésével. Mint a lap megjegyezte, a látogatás célja az volt, hogy megerősítse az Egyesült Államok elkötelezettségét a hírszerzési adatok cseréje iránt, amelyek segítik Ukrajnát az agresszor elleni harcban.

A korábbi alelnök is versenybe száll azért, hogy a republikánus párt jelöltjeként elindulhasson a jövő évi amerikai elnökválasztáson. Június elején indította el az elnökjelöltségért folytatott kampányát, és az ukrán fővárosban adott interjúban kiemelte: kijevi látogatása megacélozta eltökéltségét, hogy hozzájáruljon a határozott amerikai támogatás sürgetéséhez ukrajnai barátaink és szövetségeseink részére.
„A szabadság győzelemre áll Ukrajnában, és most még inkább, mint valaha, bíznunk kell a bátor harcosokban Ukrajnában, akik kiállnak a szabadságért, és ellenállnak az orosz agressziónak” – hangoztatta Pence.
A CNN hírtelevízió jelentése szerint a volt alelnök látogatást tett a Kijev melletti Bucsában, Irpinyben és Moscsunban is, hogy személyesen lássa az orosz tüzérségi támadások nyomait.
„Meggyőződésem, hogy eljön a nap, amikor Ukrajna szuverenitását helyreállítják” – mondta Pence, hozzátéve, hogy a szabad világ nem fogja eltűrni Oroszország behatolását.

A jelentés szerint az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője elmondta: „Úgy gondolom, itt az ideje, hogy Izrael miniszterelnöke kifejezze támogatását Ukrajnának.” Izraelt egyúttal „a legsemlegesebbnek minősítette azon országok között, amelyek jó viszonyt ápolnak Ukrajnával. „Zsidó apa fiaként nem értem, miért nem reagál Izrael” – tette fel a költői kérdést Andrij Jermak.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Izrael elítélte Oroszország teljes körű invázióját Ukrajna ellen. Május elején Jeruzsálem radarokat küldött Ukrajnának az izraeli RADA Electronic Industries cég által gyártott új rakétafenyegetés-figyelmeztető rendszerhez. Ugyanakkor Izrael nem nyújt katonai támogatást Ukrajnának. Hamarosan tárgyalást is terveznek Ukrajna és Izrael védelmi miniszterei között.

Ukrajnába érkezett David O’Sullivan, az Európai Unió a szankciók végrehajtásáért felelős különmegbízottja és tárgyalt Andrij Jermákkal, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetőjével, közölte a hivatal sajtószolgálata június 16-án.
A megbeszélésen Jermak megjegyezte, hogy az ukrán félnek információi vannak Oroszország katonai és politikai vezetéséhez közel álló személyekről, akik közvetlenül részt vesznek az Ukrajna elleni háborúban, vagy támogatják az orosz agressziót, tájékoztatott az Elnöki Hivatal sajtószolgálata.
Példaként említette az orosz propagandisták közelmúltbeli nyilvános felhívásait az ukrán technika megsemmisítésére, valamint az ilyen akciókért jutalmat is ígértek.
„Számítunk arra, hogy ezekre a propagandistákra is szankciókat szabnak ki. Szerintem ez nagyon fontos” – mondta Jermak.
Hangsúlyozta továbbá, hogy az ukrán fél kész csatlakozni az Oroszországot továbbra is támogató harmadik országokkal szembeni szankciók kidolgozásához.
Az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője elmondta, Ukrajna kapcsolatokat épít a déli országokkal, és tájékoztatja ezeket az országokat az Oroszországi Föderáció azon kísérleteiről, hogy ezeket a szankciók megkerülésére használja fel. „Készek vagyunk a hét minden napján, non stop dolgozni, bizonyítékokat, szükséges dokumentumokat gyűjteni, intézkedéseket koordinálni és nyomást gyakorolni ezekre az országokra” – biztosított a politikus.
Jermak elmondta, ez a munka különösen fontos a harmadik országokból származó technológiák és katonai felszerelések Oroszországba irányuló reexportjának megszüntetésével összefüggésben, aminek köszönhetően Oroszország továbbra is képes rakétákat gyártani, és továbbra is csapásokat mér a békés ukrán állampolgárokra és polgári objektumokra.
„Működjünk együtt, dolgozzunk mint egy csapat. Nagyon nyitottak és érdekeltek vagyunk abban, hogy ez a munka eredményes legyen” – hangsúlyozta Jermak.
David O’Sullivan a maga részéről tájékoztatta Andrij Jermakot a közelmúltban meglátogatott országok vezetőivel való kapcsolatairól, valamint az Oroszországgal folytatott fegyver- és kettős célú áruk kereskedelmét korlátozó intézkedésekről folytatott tárgyalások eredményeiről. Biztosított arról, hogy az EU továbbra is támogatni fogja Ukrajnát addig, amíg szükséges. Reményét fejezte ki, hogy a 11. szankciócsomagot a közeljövőben jóváhagyják.
„Köszönjük mindazt, amit a hadseregük, az elnökük tesz. Támogatjuk Önöket, mert tudjuk: minden, ami történik, nem csak Ukrajnáról és Ukrajnáért van. Ennek az egész kontinensnek a jövőjéről van szó. Köszönjük Önnek és az országban mindenkinek, amit tesznek” – hangsúlyozta az EU különmegbízottja.

Deeszkalációra szólította fel kijevi látogatása során Ukrajnát és Oroszországot Cyril Ramaphosa dél-afrikai elnök, aki afrikai küldöttség élén próbál meg közvetíteni Kijev és Moszkva között.
Cyrill Ramaphosa Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel közösen tartott sajtótájékoztatót.
Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök felkérte az afrikai kontinens országait, hogy csatlakozzanak az ukrán „békeformulához”, és vegyenek részt az ennek alapján szervezett globális békecsúcson.
Volodimir Zelenszkij az afrikai vezetőkkel folytatott tárgyalása után leszögezte, az Oroszországgal folytatandó tárgyalások akkor lesznek lehetségesek, ha Moszkva minden katonáját kivonja a megszállt területekről. Az ukrán elnök szerint, ha most folytatnának bármilyen tárgyalást Oroszországgal, az a háború befagyasztását jelentené.
Az ukrán elnök azzal vádolta meg Moszkvát, hogy a 2022. februári invázió kezdete előtt Oroszország hosszan igyekezett becsapni a világot a minszki egyezményekkel, amelyet azzal a céllal kötöttek meg, hogy megpróbálják rendezni a Moszkva által támogatott kelet-ukrajnai szakadárokkal folytatott konfliktust, és amelyet Oroszország arra használt fel, hogy új offenzívát készítsen elő a szomszédja ellen.
A közvetítés céljából pénteken Ukrajnába érkezett, dél-afrikai vezetőkből álló küldöttséget reggel egy Kijev ellen irányuló orosz rakétacsapás fogadta, amelynek következtében bekapcsoltak a légvédelmi szirénák és robbanások hallatszottak.
Az ukrán légierő közölte, hogy 12 orosz, közöttük több Kindzsal típusú hiperszónikus rakétát lőttek le a főváros térségében, ahol hét ember, közöttük két gyermek sebesült meg a rakéták darabjaitól.
Az afrikai küldöttség először a Kijev melletti Bucsába látogatott, ahol a több száz polgári lakost mészároltak le, a tömegmészárlás elkövetésével Oroszországot vádolják. Szombaton Oroszországba látogatnak, ahol Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel találkoznak.
A küldöttségnek négy államfő – Cyrill Ramaphosa (Dél-afrikai Köztársaság), Macky Sally (Szenegál), Hakainde Hichilema (Zambia), valamint Azali Assoumani (Comore-szigetek), az Afrikai Unió elnöke a tagja, továbbá Kongó, Uganda és Egyiptom képviselői is helyet kaptak a delegációban.

Justin Trudeau kanadai miniszterelnök és helyettese, Chrystia Freeland szombat délelőtt előre be nem jelentett látogatásra Kijevbe érkezett – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál a CBC kanadai tévécsatornája hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Ukrajnában hivatalosan még nem erősítették meg a kanadai miniszterelnöki látogatást. A kanadai televízió szerint Trudeau akkor érkezett Kijevbe, amikor az ukrán hadsereg fokozta régóta várt ellentámadását, hogy kiszorítsa az orosz hadsereget az ország megszállt keleti és déli régióiból. A kanadai miniszterelnök helyettesével, Chrystia Freeland kormányfő-helyettessel együtt érkezett Ukrajnába.
„Trudeau ukrajnai útját szigorú titoktartás mellett tervezték. Ottawát akkor hagyta el, amikor a kínai állítólagos beavatkozás miatti politikai válság drámai lendületet kapott David Johnston különleges jelentéstevő és korábbi főkormányzó hirtelen lemondását követően” – emlékeztetett a CBC.

Kétnapos látogatást kezd hétfőn Kijevben Matteo Zuppi olasz bíboros, akit Ferenc pápa békemisszióval bízott meg a háború befejezése érdekében – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál a Vatikán közleményére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Zuppi bolognai érsek és az olasz püspöki konferencia elnöke Ferenc küldötteként látogat Kijevbe. A Vatikán kijelentette, hogy a látogatás fő célja az, hogy „figyelmesen meghallgassák az ukrán hatóságokat az igazságos világ megvalósításának lehetséges módjairól, és támogassák az emberiség gesztusait, amelyek segíthetnek a feszültségek csökkentésében”.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy a háború 2022 februári kitörése óta Ferenc pápa és a Vatikán megpróbálta beajánlani magát lehetséges békeközvetítőnek, de eddig nem jártak sikerrel. Májusban Ferenc pápa megbízta Zuppit egy békefenntartó misszióval, „hogy megpróbáljon véget vetni az ukrajnai háborúnak”.
Matteo Zuppi a római székhelyű Sanct-Egidio közösségből származik, egy béke és igazság mellett elkötelezett csoportból, amely 1992-ben egy megállapodást kötött, amely véget vetett a mozambiki polgárháborúnak, amelyben körülbelül egymillió ember halt meg, és körülbelül négymillióan kényszerültek elhagyni otthonukat. A pápa 2019-ben bíborossá nevezte ki, tavaly pedig az Olasz Püspöki Konferencia elnökévé választották.
A háború kitörése után Ferenc pápa kétértelmű álláspontra helyezkedett, és békére szólított fel anélkül, hogy bármit is mondott volna az orosz invázióról. Ferenc pápa elsősorban arra mutatott hajlandóságot, hogy beszéljen Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel, hogy békére szólítsa fel, és „kulturált embernek” nevezte az orosz diktátort.
Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök májusban találkozott Ferenc pápával, és kijelentette, hogy Kijevnek „nincs szüksége közvetítőkre Ukrajna és az agresszor között”. Szerinte a kérdés az, hogy ki kell dolgozni egy cselekvési tervet az igazságos ukrajnai békéért.
