Az ukrán hadsereg fegyvertárában megjelenhetnek a több mint 3000 kilométeres hatótávolságú csapásmérő drónok – közölte szerdán Olekszij Danilov, a Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára a Twitteren, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Danilov azt írta: „Mathias Rustról elnevezett ukrán raj – modellek tucatjai, drónok ezrei. Az ukrán fegyveres erők szolgálatában lévő drónok támadása több mint 3000 kilométeres repülési hatótávolsággal.”
Danilov fotót is közölt Mathias Rust német pilóta gépével, amely 1987-ben több mint ezer kilométert repült, megkerülve a Szovjetunió légvédelmi rendszereit, és a moszkvai Vörös téren landolt.

A varsói kormány átmeneti megoldásként bérli az MQ-9A Reaper típust, hosszú távon ugyanis a korszerűbb és nagyobb MQ-9B SkyGuardian verzió beszerzését tervezi.
Az MQ-9A Reaper drónokat az amerikai légierő már használta felderítésre lengyelországi repülőterekről.
A fegyverzet hordozására is képes MQ-9A Reaper szárnyfesztávolsága 20 méter, mintegy 15 kilométeres magasságban tud repülni és képes több mint 24 órán át a levegőben maradni.

A belga minisztertanács jóváhagyta az Ukrajnának szánt új katonai segélycsomagot, mely 10 víz alatti drónt és két mobil laboratóriumot fog tartalmazni – jelentette előző nap a Le Soir lap Ludivina Dedonder védelmi miniszterre hivatkozva.
„Ezek a drónok lehetővé teszik az összes víz alatti fenyegetés észlelését: az aknákat és a kémeszközöket egyaránt. Ezek új csúcstechnológiák, amelyek nagy segítséget fognak nyújtani. A belga hadsereg már rendelkezik ezekkel az eszközökkel” – mondták el. A felszerelés május végéig érkezik meg Ukrajnába.
