Nem tapasztalható változás Vlagyimir Putyinnál az Ukrajna ellen indított háborújának megítélésében – mondta Olaf Scholz német kancellár szerdán Berlinben az orosz elnökkel előző nap telefonon folytatott megbeszéléséről. António Guterres ENSZ-főtitkár is tárgyalt Putyinnal, ami után ő is azt mondta, messze van még a háború vége.
Az orosz elnökben sajnos nem érlelődött meg az a felismerés, hogy hiba volt elindítani ezt a háborút, és nem tűnik úgy, mintha változna a hozzáállása, noha nap mint nap egyre világosabb, hogy a béke felé vezető utat egyedül az orosz csapatok teljes kivonása nyithatja meg.
Arra a kérdésre, hogy Németország hajlandó-e első, és egyedüli országként nyugati – német – gyártmányú harckocsikkal is támogatni Ukrajnát, kijelentette, hogy továbbra is csak a partnerekkel egyeztetve küldenek fegyvereket az orosz támadás ellen védekező ukrán erőknek.
Kiemelte: az utóbbi napok fejleményei azt mutatják, hogy éppen a Németországtól kapott fegyverek járultak hozzá a legnagyobb mértékben ahhoz, hogy az ukránok igencsak látványos módon képesek az országuk védelmére.
Hozzátette, hogy Berlin változatlanul az ukrán tűzérségi és a légvédelmi képességek fejlesztésére összpontosít. Példaként említette, hogy a legmodernebb német fejlesztésű fegyverrendszerek között számon tartott IRIS-T légvédelmi rakétarendszerből is szállítanak majd Ukrajnának, holott ilyen rendszerrel a német hadsereg (Bundeswehr) sem rendelkezik még.
A kormány rendszeresen frissített nyilvántartásából is kiviláglik, hogy Németország döntő jelentőségű katonai támogatást nyújt Ukrajnának – jegyezte meg Olaf Scholz, utalva egy nyilvános összeállításra, amely szerint egyedül az utóbbi héten négy Gepard típusú önjáró légvédelmi ágyút szállítottak, amelyek száma így 24-re emelkedett.
Az örmény-azeri határon kiújult harcokkal kapcsolatban a német kancellár és a grúz miniszterelnök is az erőszak azonnali beszüntetését sürgette. Irakli Garibasvili hangsúlyozta, hogy kormánya mély aggodalommal tekint a Grúzia szomszédságában zajló vérontásra, amelyet elfogadhatatlannak tart. Olaf Scholz kiemelte, hogy ez a konfliktus értelmetlen és emberek életébe kerül, békésen kell megoldani.

Marko Mihkelson, az észt parlament külügyi bizottságának elnöke a Facebook-oldalán élesen bírálta Olaf Scholz német kancellárt és Emmanuel Macron francia elnököt, amiért szombaton telefonon felhívták Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnököt, a politikus szerint a két európai vezető jobban tette volna, ha a telefonálgatás helyett inkább Ukrajnába látogat – adta hírül vasárnap a Levij Bereg hírportál.
A jelentés szerint az 1,3 milliós balti ország politikusa azt írta: „hihetetlen, ahogy Franciaország és Németország jelenlegi vezetői önkéntelenül egyengetik az utat az újabb orosz erőszak előtt.” Mint hangsúlyozta, „a két európai vezető 80 perces telefonos megbeszélése Putyinnal – Macront parafrazeálva – agyhalál. Úgy vélte, a háború kirobbantójának és háborús bűncselekmények elkövetőjének folyamatos legitimálása fenyegetést jelent az európai térségre.
Mihkelson szerint ha Macron és Scholz aggódik az ukrán kikötők blokádja kapcsán az Afrikában és más régiókban kialakult élelmiszerválság miatt, akkor humanitárius konvojt kellene létrehozniuk a Fekete-tengeren, és meg kellene könnyíteniük a kereskedelmi hajók áthaladását. „Macron és Scholz letehetné a telefont, és Ukrajnába utazhatna” – jegyezte meg.
„Remélem, hogy Macron és Scholz furcsa cselekedeteit nem az okozza, hogy aggódnak a befolyásuk elvesztése miatt egy demokratikus Európában, amely egy győztes háború esetén Ukrajnát is befogadná, később pedig Moldovát, Grúziát is, és Fehéroroszország felszabadulna a tényleges orosz megszállás alól, Európa egésze pedig legalább egy időre megszabadulna az orosz egzisztenciális fenyegetéstől” – fakadt ki Marko Mihkelson.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy szombaton Macron és Scholz telefonon beszélt Putyinnal. A német kancellár és a francia elnök felszólította Putyint, hogy kezdjen közvetlen tárgyalásokat Ukrajna elnökével, és vonja ki csapatait.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier német elnök telefonbeszélgetést folytatott Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel, melynek során meghívást kapott Ukrajnába.
A hírt a Spiegel közölte – írja a Jevropejszka pravda.
Steinmeier a 45 perces beszélgetés alatt biztosította Zelenszkijt Németország teljes támogatásáról. A szóvivő szerint minden múltbeli félreértés megoldódott, és Zelenszkij meghívta a szövetségi elnököt és a kancellárt Ukrajnába. Azt azonban még nem tudni, hogy Steinmeier készen áll-e Kijevbe utazni, és mikor lehetséges ez a látogatás.
Andrij Jermak, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője szintén megerősítette a hírt a telefonbeszélgetést illetően. „Németország továbbra is Ukrajna erős szövetségese. A részleteket hivatalosan is közöljük, egyelőre annyit mondhatok, hogy az oroszok hiába reménykednek Európa egységének megszakítására Ukrajna támogatásával kapcsolatban” – mondta el.

Naftali Bennett izraeli miniszterelnök és Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök az ukrajnai helyzetről és a keddi izraeli merényletről beszélt szerdán telefonon – jelentette a helyi média szerdán.
Telefonbeszélgetésük során megvitatták az ukrajnai háborús helyzetet, s Putyin részvétét fejezte ki Bennettnek a kedden történt Beér-Seva-i terrortámadás miatt, melyben életét vesztette négy izraeli civil.

Emmanuel Macron francia államfő kedden ismételten beszélt orosz kollégájával, Vlagyimir Putyinnal, de az egyórás telefonbeszélgetésen nem sikerült megállapodásra jutni a francia fél által reklamált tűzszünetről Ukrajnában – jelezte a francia elnöki hivatal.
Ez volt nyolcadik alkalom, hogy az ukrajnai háború február 24-i kezdete óta a francia és az orosz elnök telefon beszélt egymással.
„Egyelőre nincs megállapodás, de Macron elnök meg van arról győződve, hogy folytatni kell az erőfeszítéseket” – tudatta az Elysée-palota. A francia elnökség álláspontja szerint „nincs más megoldás, mint a tűzszünet, valamint jóhiszemű tárgyalások Oroszország részéről Ukrajnával”.
„A (francia) köztársasági elnök Ukrajna mellett áll” – hangsúlyozta a francia elnöki hivatal.
Moszkva csak annyit közölt az AFP hírügynökség szerint, hogy a megbeszélést a francia fél kezdeményezte, és annak témája az ukrajnai helyzet, valamint az ukrán és az orosz fél között folyamatban lévő tárgyalások voltak.
Legutóbbi telefonos megbeszélésükön, múlt pénteken a francia elnök kifejezte „mély aggodalmát” az orosz erők által bombázott Mariupol városának helyzete miatt, és „az ostrom befejezését” szorgalmazta.
Emmanuel Macron kedden a Brüsszelben rendezett Európai Humanitárius Fórum videókonferenciáján elítélte, hogy Oroszország robbanófegyvereket használ sűrűn lakott övezetekben, és úgy vélte, hogy „az Ukrajna elleni orosz agresszióban minden elfogadhatatlan”.
A francia elnök kedden ismét felhívta ukrán kollégáját, Volodimir Zelenszkijt is, akivel a háború kezdete óta rendszeresen beszél, hogy támogatásáról biztosítsa.
