A belga kormány jóváhagyta az Ukrajnának szánt 14. katonai segélycsomagot, amelynek keretében a védelmi minisztérium 32,4 millió euró értékben 105 milliméteres lőszert vásárol az ukrán fegyveres erők számára – közölte pénteken a tárca.
„A belga honvédelem továbbra is minden lehetséges módon támogatja Ukrajnát, hogy megvédje népét és területét az orosz agresszióval szemben” – hangsúlyozta Ludivine Dedonder védelmi miniszter, aki a katonai segélycsomagról szóló javaslatot felterjesztette a kormánynak.
A védelmi minisztérium közleménye szerint a lőszereket a belga hadiipartól vásárolják, és a lehető leghamarabb Ukrajnába szállítják.
„A 105 milliméteres lőszerek vásárlása és szállítása Ukrajna kifejezett kérésére történik, és megfelel a helyszíni szükségleteiknek. A 32,4 millió eurós kiegészítő támogatással a védelmi minisztérium eddig 306 millió euró értékben nyújtott védelmi segítséget Ukrajnának, ebből 41 millió eurót üzemanyagként” – áll a közleményben.
A belga hadügyminisztérium a háború kezdete óta támogatást nyújt az ukrán fegyveres erőknek, a védelmi és biztonsági ipara készleteiben rendelkezésre álló lehetőségek szerint. Az anyagi támogatás mellett a védelmi minisztérium már több mint 700 ukrán katonát képzett ki az Ukrajna segítésére létrejött uniós katonai segítségnyújtási missziója keretében.

Az Európai Bizottság idén május 3-án nyújtotta be a jogszabályjavaslatot, az uniós parlamenti képviselők pedig még ugyanebben a hónapban megállapodtak abban, hogy a törvényjavaslat jóváhagyásának felgyorsítása érdekében elindítják a parlamenti sürgősségi eljárás folyamatát.
A jogszabályt 446 szavazattal 67 ellenében, 112 tartózkodás mellett fogadták el. A képviselők most megkezdik a tárgyalásokat az uniós kormányokat tömörítő tanáccsal, hogy politikai megállapodásra jussanak, amelyről a képviselők júliusi plenáris ülésükön szavaznak.

Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter találkozott az Európai Unió tagországainak külügyi vezetőivel, akikkel Ukrajna lőszerszállításáról tárgyalt – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a tárcavezető Twitter-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az ukrán diplomácia vezetője azt írta: „Két kulcskérdést vetettem fel: a nagy hatótávolságú tüzérségi lőszereket és az EU-csatlakozási tárgyalások rövid távú megnyitását. Mindkettőben haladunk.” Szintén az ukrán és az európai miniszterek találkozójának témája volt az F-16-os repülőgépek szállítása, a békeképlet, a különleges törvényszék létrehozása, az új katonai segélycsomagok és az aknamentesítés.
Dmitro Kuleba külön megbeszélést folytatott a jelenleg az Európai Unióban elnöklő Svédország külügyminiszterével is. A külügyi vezetők megvitatták a katonai segítségnyújtás és Ukrajna európai integrációjának felgyorsítását célzó lépéseket.

Az Európai Unió 1 millió 155 mm-es lövedéket és több mint 1000 rakétát gyártat Ukrajna számára – jelentette be csütörtökön Josep Borrell az Európai Unió kül- és biztonságpolitikai főképviselője az Európai Védelmi és Biztonsági Konferencián, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Borrell emlékeztetett arra, hogy az Európai Unió tagországai és szervezetei által Ukrajnának nyújtott teljes támogatás összege 16 milliárd euró. „Az első részlet 500 millió euró volt. Ma közelítünk a hatezer millió euróhoz. Az uniós országok és szervezeteik együttesen 16 milliárd euró értékben nyújtottak támogatást, és ez még nem a vége” – hangsúlyozta. Az Európai Unió kül- és biztonságpolitikai főképviselője azt is bejelentette, hogy az Európai Unió már több mint 17 ezer ukrán katonát képzett ki, és ezt a számot az év végéig 30 ezerre kívánja növelni.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök a közelmúltban azt mondta, az Európai Unió kész egymillió lövedéket biztosítani Ukrajnának a tüzérség számára. Ezenkívül május 5-én az Európai Unió Tanácsa végül jóváhagyta 1 milliárd euró elkülönítését Ukrajna számára lőszervásárlásra.

A tagállamok külügyminisztereinek tanácsa jóváhagyta, hogy az Európai Unió tagországai közösen, egymilliárd euró értékben szerezzenek be tüzérségi lőszert és rakétákat Ukrajna számára – tájékoztatott az uniós külügyi tanács pénteken.
A közlemény szerint az Európai Békekeret keretében jóváhagyott, egymilliárd eurót kitevő támogatás hozzájárul Ukrajna ellenálló képességének megerősítéséhez, ahhoz, hogy az ország képes legyen megvédeni függetlenségét, önállóságát és területi egységét, valamint ahhoz, hogy védelmet nyújthasson a polgári lakosság számára az orosz agresszióval szemben.
A támogatás lehetővé teszi az ukrán fegyveres erők ellátását 155 milliméter kaliberű tüzérségi lőszerekkel és rakétákkal – közölték. A tájékoztatás szerint ezeket az eszközöket az uniós tagállamok közösen szerezhetik be az Európai Unióban, illetve Norvégiában letelepedett vállalatoktól – írja az MTI.
A finanszírozás továbbá lehetővé teszi e lőszerek és rakéták gyártását az EU-ban, illetve Norvégiában. Emlékeztettek: a pénteki határozatot megelőzte egy korábbi egymilliárd euró értékű támogatási csomag jóváhagyása, amely lehetővé tette az EU számára, hogy megtérítse a tagállamoknak a meglévő készleteikből vagy a folyamatban lévő megrendelésekből származó, február 9. és a május 31. között Ukrajnának adományozott föld-föld és tüzérségi lőszerek, valamint rakéták árát.
A korábbi támogatási csomagokkal együtt a pénteken elfogadott intézkedés 5,6 milliárd euróra emelte az Ukrajna számára az Európai Békekeret keretében biztosított katonai felszerelések szállításának támogatásához nyújtott uniós hozzájárulást – tájékoztattak.

Az Európai Bizottság jogszabályjavaslatot terjeszt elő a lőszergyártás fejlesztéséről az Európai Unióban – jelentette ki Ursula von der Leyen, a brüsszeli bizottság elnöke kedden Prágában sajtótájékoztatón, miután találkozott Petr Pavel cseh államfővel.
„Örömmel jelentem be, hogy az Európai Bizottság szerdán jogszabályjavaslatot terjeszt elő az EU lőszergyártásáról, ami felgyorsíthatja a szállításokat. Arról van szó, hogy intenzívebbé és gyorsabbá tegyük a lőszergyártást, mert Ukrajnának valóban azonnali szüksége van erre” – mondta újságíróknak az uniós végrehajtó testület elnöke.
A javaslat a lőszergyártás támogatását is tartalmazni fogja mintegy 500 millió euró nagyságban. Az uniós tagállamok pénzügyi támogatásával együtt az erre fordítható összeg eléri az egymillió eurót – mutatott rá Ursula von der Leyen. Hangsúlyozta, hogy a tagállamok készek továbbra is közösen szembenézni a geopolitikai kihívásokkal.
Az Európai Bizottság elnöke köszönetet mondott Csehországnak az Ukrajnának nyújtott támogatásért.
„Tudatosítani kell, hogy lakosságarányosan Csehország fogadta be a legnagyobb számú ukrán menekültet. Ez csodálatos” – szögezte le Ursula von der Leyen. Közlése szerint az EU-tagállamok eddig több mint 68 milliárd eurónyi segítséget nyújtottak Ukrajnának. „Ennek a segítségnyújtásnak folytatódnia kell” – hangsúlyozta.
A cseh belügyminisztérium közlése szerint április elején több mint 325 ezer ukrán menekült tartózkodott Csehország területén.
Petr Pavel a sajtótájékoztatón nagyra értékelte az EU által Ukrajnának nyújtott támogatást. Megerősítette korábbi álláspontját, hogy Ukrajnának az EU-ban a helye, s Prága mindent megtesz annak érdekében, hogy a csatlakozási tárgyalások még az idén megindulhassanak.
A cseh államfő eredetileg április végi brüsszeli látogatása alatt szeretett volta találkozni Ursula von der Leyennel, de az Európai Bizottság elnöke unokája megszületése miatt lemondta a találkozót, és Berlinbe utazott. Így jött létre a keddi prágai találkozó.
Ursula von der Leyen Prágában Petr Fiala miniszterelnökkel is találkozott. „Elsősorban az energetikai projektekről beszélgettünk, illetve a nemzeti felújítási tervekről, amelyek segítségével növelhetjük Csehország energetikai önállóságát. Az európai és a világpolitika időszerű kérdései is szóba kerültek” – összegezte a rövid találkozó tartalmát a cseh kormányfő a Twitteren.

Petr Pavel Zuzana Caputová szlovák államfővel együtt péntektől vasárnapig 3 napos munkalátogatást tett Ukrajnában. Prágába való visszatérése után Petr Pavel a Kbely katonai repülőtéren tartott sajtótájékoztatót.
Az elnök szerint Ukrajnában komoly lőszerhiány van, ami akadályozza Kijevet, hogy ellentámadást indítson az orosz megszállók ellen az ukrán területek feletti ellenőrzés visszaszerzésére.
„Ukrajnának jelenleg leginkább lőszerre van szüksége. A lőszerből kritikus hiány van, s ez korlátozza Ukrajna képességét, hogy hatékonyan védekezzen és sikeres ellentámadást indíthasson” – mondta Petr Pavel újságíróknak a prágai katonai repülőtéren. Az elnök úgy látja, hogy az oroszok naponta négyszer-ötször több lőszert használnak fel, mint az ukránok.
„Keresni fogjuk az utat, hogyan növeljük a lőszerszállítást saját forrásainkból” – jelentette ki Petr Pavel. Hozzátette, hogy a szövetségesekkel is tárgyalni akar, mert ugyan nagyon hatékony fegyvereket szállítanak az ukránoknak, de csak minimális mennyiségű lőszert. „Ennek így nincs értelme” – szögezte le a cseh államfő.
A régebbi szovjet gyártmányú fegyverekben használatos lőszer ugyan Csehországban már nem hozzáférhető, de más országokban még van elég – fejtette ki az elnök. „Ezek a lőszerek gyakran olyan országokban találhatóak, amelyek korábban szovjet fegyvereket használtak” – mutatott rá Petr Pavel.
Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök pénteken Kijevben arról biztosította Petr Pavel és Zuzana Caputovát, hogy Ukrajna kész teljesíteni az uniós csatlakozás minden feltételét. „Mindent megteszünk annak érdekében, hogy a csatlakozási tárgyalások még az idén megindulhassanak” – hangsúlyozta a cseh államfő a sajtótájékoztatón.

Emberéletekben mérhető, hogy az Európai Unió kudarcot vallott az Ukrajna számára történő közös lőszervásárlásra vonatkozó saját döntésének végrehajtásában – közölte pénteken Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter a Twitteren, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint az ukrán diplomácia vezetője úgy vélte, jelenleg az Európai Unió stratégiai autonómiájának tesztelése folyik a biztonság területén új, fontos döntések meghozatalában. Ezen döntések meghozatalának lassulása azonban ukrán emberéletekben mérhető – mutatott rá.
„Ez egy próbája annak, hogy az Európai Unió rendelkezik-e stratégiai autonómiával az új fontos döntések meghozatalában a biztonság területén. Ukrajna számára a tétlenség ára emberi életekben mérhető” – hangsúlyozta Dmitro Kuleba.
