Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök elmondása szerint Kijevet és Moszkvát „néhány nap választja el” a megállapodás megkötésétől, amely értelmében lehetővé válik többmillió tonna, blokád alá került gabona Fekete-tengeren való elszállítása azokra a területekre, ahol létfontosságú szükség van rá.
„Gőzerővel folynak a tárgyalások annak érdekében, hogy a gabona és étolaj kikerüljön a blokád alól” – jelentette ki Recep Tayyip Erdogan Ankarában Mario Draghi olasz kormányfővel folytatott tárgyalásokat követően egy közösen megtartott sajtókonferencián. – Egy hét, 10 napon belül aktivizáljuk a tárgyalásokat, és megpróbálunk eredményt elérni”.
Mint ismeretes, békeidőben Ukrajna évtizedekig az egyik legfőbb gabonaszállító volt a világon, a február 24-i orosz invázió kezdete óta az orosz flotta blokkolta az ukrán kikötőket, ami élelmiszerválsággal fenyegeti az egész világot. Elsősorban Közel-Kelet, Afrika és Ázsia országairól van szó. Ezen túlmenően az oroszok támadásokat indítottak az ukrajnai gabonatárolók ellen, és már megerősítést nyert, hogy a gabonatartalékok jelentős részét eltulajdonították és elszállítottak. Ezeket a tényeket az ukrajnai és a külföldi sajtó is nyilvánosságra hozta, többek között az orosz sajtóban is megjelent, de az ország propagandasajtójában természetesen másként magyarázták.
Törökország közvetítői szerepet vállalt Ukrajna és Oroszország között a megállapodás megkötése érdekében. Az európai és török sajtó adatai szerint Kijev azt akarja, hogy Törökország garantálja a hajók biztonságát. Erdogan elmondása szerint a kereskedelmi hajók számára nagyon fontos a biztonságos áthaladás, mert bár országa „még nem szenved gabonahiányban”, „Afrika már szembesült ezzel a problémával”.
Mario Draghi olasz miniszterelnök kijelentette, hogy Törökországnak „központi szerepe” van a tervben, amelyet állítása szerint Antonio Guterres, az ENSZ főtitkára a G7-ek vezetőivel folytatott találkozóján fogalmazott meg.
„A szerep abból áll, hogy szavatolja a hajók biztonságát és biztosítja, hogy a hajók ne szállítsanak fegyvereket” – hangsúlyozta az olasz miniszterelnök.
Egyben megjegyezte, hogy a terv „nagyon ígéretes”, mert „nem igényli a kikötők aknamentesítését, a potenciális útvonalakat már meghatározták és munkacsoportot hoztak létre. Egyetlen hiányosság: Moszkva végleges beleegyezése – összegezte az olasz kormányfő.
Ennek a megállapodásnak „nagyon magas stratégiai értéke” is van, mivel utat nyithat a béketárgyalások felé – tette hozzá Mario Draghi. „A béke elérésének útján ez az első lépés egy megállapodás felé, egy olyan cél felé, amely az egész világot érinti, mert a legszegényebb országokban élő emberek millióinak életét érinti” – összegezte Draghi.

A NATO nem tervezi katonai képességeinek bevonását, hogy biztonsági folyosót hozzon létre az ukrán gabonaexport számára a Fekete-tengeren, mivel tart attól, hogy az elfogadhatatlan eszkalációhoz vezet – nyilatkozta hétfőn Mircea Geoane, az Észak-atlanti Szövetség főtitkár-helyettese az Ukrajinszka Pravdának.
Mint Geoane hangsúlyozta, „a NATO katonai képességeinek bevonása nem segít megoldani a helyzetet. Ellenkezőleg, úgy gondoljuk, hogy ez súlyosbítaná” – válaszul arra a kérdésre, hogy milyen lehetőségeket kínál a szövetség Ukrajnának a Fekete-tengeren áthaladó kereskedelmi útvonalak blokádjának feloldására. A főtitkár-helyettes egyúttal megjegyezte, hogy a partnerek próbálnak más megoldásokat találni.
A tisztviselő elmondása szerint az első lehetőség a vasúton és autópályán történő szállítás az EU kikötőibe, amely útvonal a hiányosságai ellenére lehetővé teszi az exportra szánt gabona legalább egy részének kivitelét. „A második lehetőség – ami valójában nagyon nehéz – biztonságos folyosók kialakítása a Fekete-tengeren. Ezek társszervezője Oroszország lesz, mert Oroszország egy játékos ezen a színpadon” – mutatott rá Mircea Geoane.

I’ve just spoken with the Estonian PM @KristenMichalPM about the Russian air space violation today. NATO’s response under Eastern Sentry was quick and decisive.
Oroszország nem adta fel a Donyeck és Luhanszk megyék elfoglalására irányuló terveit, de Moszkva célja az, hogy elvágja Ukrajnát a Fekete- és az Azovi-tengertől – jelentette ki Hanna Maljar védelmi miniszter-helyettes hétfőn egy televíziós műsorban, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Maljar az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásában elmondta: „Oroszország nem hagyott fel azon tervével, hogy nemcsak Donyeck és Luhanszk megyéket foglalja el a földrajzi határaikig, és most még Harkiv és Herszon megyékkel is ugyanezt próbálja megtenni.” Hozzátette: az oroszok célja, hogy elvágják Ukrajnát a tengerektől.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy az Ukrajna elleni teljes körű invázió kezdete óta Oroszország mintegy 23 800 katonát veszített a harcokban.

Ukrajna szerint az orosz flotta gyakorlatilag hajózhatatlanná teszi ezzel a térséget. Az esemény hasonlóan az orosz szárazföldi erők részvételével Belaruszban tartott hadgyakorlathoz, csütörtökön vette kezdetét.
Ukrajna régóta vádolja Oroszországot azzal, hogy fekete-tengeri kikötőit gyakorlatilag blokád alatt tartja, akadályozva ezzel az ország kereskedelmét. Kijev főként acélt, búzát és napraforgó olajat exportál déli kikötőin keresztül. Az orosz flotta részéről ráadásul a flotta hat hadihajója az ukránoktól 2014-ben elfoglalt Krím-félsziget kikötőjébe, Szevasztopolba érkezett a hadijátékokra.

Ukrajna következetesen síkra száll a NATO-erők és -eszközök fekete-tengeri jelenlétének a megerősítése és az érintett országok összefogása mellett – jelentette ki Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök pénteken a moldovai fővárosban tartott sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij hangsúlyozta, hogy Ukrajna kezdeményezte a Fekete-tenger melléki országok együttműködésének megerősítését a haditengerészet terén. Egyúttal felajánlotta a Fekete-tengerre kijárattal rendelkező Romániának és Moldovának, hogy csatlakozzon az ukrán kezdeményezéshez.
Mint kiemelte, „Ukrajna következetesen síkra száll a NATO-erők és -eszközök fekete-tengeri jelenlétének a megerősítése, a közös hadgyakorlatok és kiképzések programjának bővítése mellett.” Aláhúzta: „egyesítsük erőfeszítéseinket olyan baráti szomszédokként, akiknek közös a múltjuk, és olyan partnerekként, akik egyformán látják a jövőt.”
Mint hírportálunk ma beszámolt róla, a Volodimir Zelenszkij elnököt Moldvába szállító repülőgép a fővárost beburkoló sűrű köd miatt nem tudott leszállni a chisinaui repülőtéren, ezért visszafordították Odesszába. Később a gép landolni tudott Chisinauban.

Nagy-Britannia a Királyi Haditengerészet hajóit vezényli a Fekete-tengerre Ukrajnával való szolidaritása jeléül, a hajóknak májusban kell megérkezniük úti céljukhoz – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál a The Sunday Times című brit vasárnapi lapra hivatkozva.
Az angol újság haditengerészeti forrásaira hivatkozva azt írta, hogy a hadihajók küldésével Nagy-Britannia Ukrajnával és a NATO-szövetségesekkel való szolidaritását akarja demonstrálni. Mint a kiadvány jelezte, a tervek szerint a Fekete-tenger vizeire egy Type 45 típusú rakétahordozót és egy Type 23 típusú, tengeralattjárók ellen bevethető fregattot irányítanak.
A brit lap szerint az említett hadihajók a Földközi-tengeren állomásozó HMS Queen Elizabeth repülőgép-hordozó anyahajó kíséretétől válnak le és a Boszporusz-szoroson át jutnak a Fekete-tenger vizeire. A két hadihajót a Földközi-tengerről az anyahajó fogja biztosítani, amelynek fedélzetén tengeralattjárók elleni harcra alkalmas helikopterek és F35B típusú vadászbombázók vannak.

The Defence Secretary @JohnHealey_MP this morning confirmed that a Russian spy ship – the Yantar – is on the edge of UK waters, north of Scotland, having entered the UK’s wider waters over the last few weeks.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök kijelentette, hogy ellenzi az egyre növekvő feszültséget a Fekete-tengeri régióban, és megerősítette: Törökország támogatja Ukrajna területi integritását és szuverenitását, valamint a Krími Platform kezdeményezést – számolt be a török elnök sajtószolgálata.
„Elsődleges célunk, hogy a Fekete-tenger továbbra is a béke, a nyugalom és az együttműködés tengere maradjon. Nem akarjuk, hogy térségünkben bármilyen ürügy révén nőjön a feszültség. A kelet-ukrajnai helyzet kapcsán eszmecserét folytattam barátommal (Volodimir Zelenszkij). Mi hiszünk abban, hogy a jelenlegi válságot békés diplomáciai úton is meglehet oldani Ukrajna területi integritása és a nemzetközi jog elvei alapján” – jelentette ki Erdogan.
Egyben hozzátette, Törökország kész bármilyen támogatást nyújtani a közelmúltban növekvő feszültség csökkentése érdekében, a „fegyverszünet fenntartása és a konfliktus a minszki megállapodásokon alapuló párbeszéd útján való megoldását, valamint Törökország következetesen támogatja Ukrajna szuverenitását és területi integritását, és nem ismeri el Krím annektálását.
Erdogan kihangsúlyozta, hogy Törökország támogatja a Krími platformot, hozzátéve, hogy országa kötelességének tekinti a szülőföldje elől menekülni kényszerült krími tatárok helyzetének javítását.
Volodimir Zelenszkij megjegyezte, hogy Kijev és Ankara nézetei a Fekete-tengeri régió kihívásainak kérdésében egybeesnek – „mind a fenyegetések, mind pedig az ezekre a veszélyekre való megfelelő válaszadás módjaiban”.

Washington azt fontolgatja, hogy hadihajókat küld a Fekete-tengerre a következő hetekben az orosz csapatok fokozott jelenléte miatt az ukrán határ mentén – közölte a Pentagon szóvivője csütörtökön a CNN-nel.
A Montreux-i egyezmény értelmében az Egyesült Államoknak 14 napon belül értesítenie kell Törökországot a Dárdai-szoroson és a Boszporusz-szoroson való áthaladás szándékáról.
A tévécsatorna megjegyzi azonban, hogy még mindig nem világos, hogy Washington küldte-e a megfelelő riasztást Ankarának.
A tévécsatorna tárgyalópartnere szerint az Egyesült Államok nem tartja késznek az orosz erők koncentrációját a támadó akciókra, de Washington kész reagálni, ha a helyzet megváltozik.
A Pentagon szóvivője megjegyezte, hogy az amerikai haditengerészet továbbra is felderítő küldetéseket végez a Fekete-tenger feletti nemzetközi légtérben, és figyelemmel kíséri az orosz haditengerészet tevékenységét, valamint a csapatok mozgását a Krímben.
