„Az ukrán delegáció New York-i látogatásának fontos eredménye volt az a találkozó, amelyek során Volodimir Zelenszkij tárgyalt az Egyesült Királyság miniszterelnökével, Boris Johnsonnal és a Törökország elnökével, Recep Tayyip Erdogannal. Ahogyan azt külpolitikai stratégiánk előirányozza, Ukrajna erősíti a stratégiai partnerséget az erős szereplőkkel, és globális és regionális biztonsági rendszert alakít ki velük” – jegyezte meg Kuleba.
Emlékeztetett arra, hogy tavaly Kijev és London kapcsolatában a stratégiai partnerség új szakasza kezdődött meg, amelynek keretében Ukrajna és az Egyesült Királyság közösen erősíti az Ukrajnai Fegyveres Erők Haditengerészetét. A közelmúltban pedig megállapodtak, hogy az Egyesült Királyság 2 rakétahajót épít Ukrajnának, további hatot pedig az ukrán vállalatok bevonásával. Zelenszkij és Johnson a kereskedelmi, védelmi, pénzügyi és energetikai együttműködés fokozásának konkrét lépéseit vitatta meg.
Törökország kulcsszereplő a NATO-ban és a Fekete-tenger térségében – mondta Kuleba, emlékeztetve a pilóta nélküli repülőgépekkel és hadihajókkal kapcsolatos közös projektekre. Jelenleg Törökországban folyamatban van Ukrajna első korvettájának építése. „Meggyőződésem, hogy Ukrajnában létrehozzuk a Bayraktar drónok gyártását. Ezek a félelmetes harci járművek, amelyek közül néhány már ukrán motorral rendelkezik, jelenleg a világ egyik leghatékonyabb fegyvertípusa” – jegyezte meg a miniszter.
Egyben kommentálta az elnök két kulcsfontosságú nemzetközi szervezet vezetőjével folytatott találkozóját: Ursula von der Leyen, az Európai Bizottság elnökével valamint Jens Stoltenberg NATO-főtitkárral. Zelenszkij von der Leyennel tárgyalt az október 12-i EU – Ukrajna csúcstalálkozó előkészületeiről, kihangsúlyozva, hogy az EU belső piacába való integráció és az egyértelmű uniós tagság – hazánk legfontosabb prioritásai.
A NATO-hoz való csatlakozás Ukrajna külpolitikai stratégiájának egyik fő prioritása. Hazánk megkapta a Szövetség hat legközelebbi partnere egyikének státuszát, emlékeztetett Kuleba, megjegyezve: „Meggyőződésem, hogy a NATO-hoz való csatlakozás idő kérdése”.

„Napirenden vannak a megbeszélések – hangsúlyozta. Célorientált tárgyalásokra törekszünk, hogy véget érjenek az iráni népre kivetett igazságtalan szankciók” – tette hozzá.
Az Egyesült Államok 2018-ban felmondta az Iránnal kötött többhatalmi atomalkut, és újra életbe léptette az addig felfüggesztett büntetőintézkedéseket, amelyeket azóta újabbak követtek. Joe Biden amerikai elnök azt mondta, hogy szeretné, ha Washington visszatérne az egyezményhez. Ugyanakkor az ennek érdekében áprilisban Bécsben elkezdődött tárgyalások zátonyra futottak azt követően, hogy a június 18-i iráni elnökválasztáson Ebrahim Raiszi konzervatív jelölt, Ali Hamenei iráni legfelsőbb vezető pártfogoltja győzött.
A Nemzetközi Atomenergia-ügynökség (NAÜ) úgy értesült, hogy Irán 20 százalékosra dúsított uránfémet állított elő, és jelentősen megnövelte az akár 60 százalékos tisztaságú urán gyártási kapacitását. Az iszlám köztársaság azt követően fokozta kapacitásait, hogy holtpontra jutottak az atomalku megmentéséért folyó diplomáciai tárgyalások.

Emellett helyi források jelentése szerint erőszakba fulladt Kabulban egy nők jogaiért rendezett tüntetés, legalább egy nő megsebesült.
Szombaton magukat megnevezni nem kívánó pakisztáni források szerint előre be nem jelentett látogatásra érkezett Kabulba a pakisztáni titkosszolgálat vezetője. Egyelőre nem tudni, hogy Fájiz Hamíd miről egyeztet a tálibokkal, ám szakértők máris arra emlékeztetnek, hogy augusztusi hatalomátvételüket megelőzően a radikálisoknak hosszú éveken át az Afganisztánnal szomszédos Pakisztán területén volt az egyik fő bázisuk, és többen azt állították, hogy közvetlen kapcsolatot tartanak fenn a pakisztáni titkosszolgálattal.
Korábban az Asraf Gáni vezette kabuli kormány és az Egyesült Államok is azzal vádolta Iszlámábádot, hogy titokban támogatja a tálibokat. Pakisztán az állítást tagadta.
Katar kabuli nagykövete mindeközben bejelentette: egy műszaki csapat segítségével ismét lehetővé tették, hogy a kabuli nemzetközi repülőtér fogadhassa a külföldről érkező segélyszállítmányokat. Hozzátette, dolgoznak azon, hogy nemsokára civil repülőjáratok is érkezhessenek a légikikötőbe.
Az al-Dzsazíra pánarab hírtelevízió által idézett bejelentés szerint a repülőteret az afgán hatóságokkal együttműködve igyekeznek újranyitni a nemzetközi légiforgalom előtt, és hozzátették, hogy a Kabul és Mazari-Sarif, valamint a Kabul és Kandahár közötti helyi járatok már újraindultak.
Kabulban a nők második napja vonulnak utcára, hogy jogaikért tüntessenek, és hogy egyenlőséget és demokráciát követeljenek. A tálibok korábban azt közölték, hogy tiszteletben fogják tartani a nők jogait, elemzők azonban felhívják a figyelmet arra, hogy Afganisztán új vezetői az iszlám szigorú, a nőkre nézve hátrányos értelmezését tartják a vallás egyedül autentikus tanainak.
Az aktivisták az elnöki palotához közel gyűltek össze, egyebek között „Mi nem a kilencvenes évek asszonyai vagyunk” feliratú táblákat a magasba tartva, utalva ezzel a tálibok korábbi, 1996-tól 2001-ig tartó kormányázására, amely során a nőktől szinte minden jogot elvettek, például nem járhattak iskolába, és az utcára is csak férfirokon kíséretében léphettek ki.
Videófelvételeken az látható, hogy tálib fegyveresek és nők egy csoportja hevesen összevitatkozott, a képsorokon pedig több nő erősen köhögött, vélhetően könnygáz miatt.
Úgy tűnik, immár nem lehet politikai demonstrációkat tartani – jegyezte meg Zaki Darjábi afgán újságíró Twitteren, aki szintén megosztott egy videót a tüntetésről.
Sír Mohammad Abbász Sztanikzai, a radikálisok egyik magas rangú vezetője a héten a BBC-nek azt nyilatkozta, nem valószínű, hogy az új kormányban nők is vezető tisztségeket kapnak majd, bár hozzátette, hogy „meglesz az ő szerepük is”.

„Az afgán lakosság támogatása érdekében fel kell vennünk a kapcsolatot az új kormánnyal” – mondta Josep Borrell a szlovéniai Brdo pri Kranjuban, az EU-tagállamok informális külügyminiszteri tanácskozásának második napján.
A főképviselő egyfajta „operatív kapcsolattartásról” beszélt, ami önmagában nem jelentené a tálib kormány hivatalos elismerését, és kiemelte, hogy ennek mértéke az új vezetés magatartásától függene.
Hangsúlyozta, hogy a táliboknak nem szabad ismét menedéket nyújtaniuk terrorszervezetek számára Afganisztánban, ahogy azt előző, 1996 és 2001 közötti uralmuk idején tették. Emellett tiszteletben kell tartaniuk az emberi jogokat, különösen a nők jogait, a jogállamiságot, a sajtószabadságot, illetve más csoportokat is be kell vonniuk az átmeneti kormányba. Végül pedig lehetővé kell tenniük a külföldi állampolgárok, valamint azon helyiek távozását, akik erre jogosultak.
Borrell kijelentette továbbá, hogy az új afgán kormánynak lehetővé kell tennie a humanitárius segélyszállítmányok célba juttatását, tiszteletben tartva az európai uniós eljárásokat és feltételeket.
„Fokozni fogjuk a humanitárius támogatást, de erről a hozzáférés biztosításától függően fogunk dönteni” – húzta alá.
A radikálisok több mint két héttel a főváros, Kabul elfoglalását követően még nem jelentették be a dél-ázsiai ország új kormányát. A szervezet mérsékelt képet próbál magáról sugározni jelenleg, a vezetők azt hangoztatják, hogy nem fognak visszatérni a korábbi brutális hatalomgyakorlási módszereikhez, sokan azonban nem hisznek ezeknek az ígéreteknek.
Az ENSZ szerint Afganisztán humanitárius katasztrófával néz szembe a konfliktus, a szárazság és a koronavírus-járvány miatti válság közepette. Mintegy 18 millióan már most is humanitárius segítségnyújtásra szorulnak, ez nagyjából a lakosság fele.
Heiko Maas német külügyminiszter arról számolt be, hogy a táliboktól függ a befagyasztott fejlesztési támogatások feloldása. „Számos mérsékelt nyilatkozatot hallottunk az utóbbi napokban, de nem a szavaik, hanem a tetteik alapján fogjuk megítélni őket” – szögezte le.

Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök Egyesült Államokbeli látogatása során találkozott az amerikai üzleti élet képviselőivel, és arra szólította fel az üzletembereket, hogy fektessenek be Ukrajnába, számolt be az Elnöki Hivatal sajtószolgálata.
A találkozót, amelyen pénzügyi, energetikai vállalatok, a mezőgazdasági ágazatban működő társaságok, valamint a védelmi ágazat képviselői vettek részt, Okszana Markarova, Ukrajna amerikai nagykövete nyitotta meg.
Volodimir Zelenszkij az amerikai üzletemberekkel ismertette Ukrajna átalakításáról szóló program-tervet, amelynek célja mintegy 300 milliárd USA dollár bevonzása az ukrán gazdaságba.
„Mi magunk is elvégezhetjük ezeket az átalakításokat, de ez körülbelül 20-25 évet vesz igénybe, ezért a nagyvállalatok támogatására van szükségünk és örülni fogunk a segítségnek” – jegyezte meg.
Az államfő kihangsúlyozta, Ukrajna valós lépéseket tesz az üzleti élet támogatása érdekében. Zelenszkij külön kiemelte az ország infrastrukturális átalakítására fordított erőfeszítéseket a Nagy építkezés programot. Megemlítette a koncesszióról szóló törvényt elfogadását valamint a külföldi befektetők jelenlétét a herszoni és az olviai kikötőkben.
Ezen kívül az elnök beszámolt a banki reformról és a PrivatBank privatizációjára való felkészülésről, az Ukroboronprom reformjáról, az energetikai projektekről és a „zöld” programról is. Zelenszkij többek között a „befektetésről” szóló törvényről is beszélt, aminek lényege: az a befektető, aki 20 millió eurónál többet fektet be Ukrajnába, különleges támogatást kap az ukrán kormánytól.

A német és az orosz kormány viszonya évek óta feszült, a többi között a hazájában elkövetett mérgezéses támadás után Berlinben ápolt orosz ellenzéki aktivista, Alekszej Navalnij, a szövetségi parlament (Bundestag) ellen a német szervek megállapításai szerint Oroszországból indított informatikai támadások, valamint egy csecsen származású, georgiai állampolgárságú férfi ellen Berlinben elkövetett, a német főváros ügyészsége szerint orosz vonatkozású politikai gyilkosság ügye miatt.
Ugyanakkor a német kancellár rendre azt az álláspontot képviseli, hogy fenn kell tartani a párbeszédet a moszkvai vezetéssel, mert Oroszország közreműködése elengedhetetlen egy sor nemzetközi válság rendezésében, például a szíriai polgárháború lezárásában és Afganisztán stabilizálásában. Angela Merkel egyebek mellett ezért javasolta Emmanuel Macron francia államfővel közösen az EU-s társországok vezetőinek júniusban, hogy rendezzenek EU–Oroszország csúcstalálkozót. A javaslatot elvetették az uniós kormány-, illetve államfők brüsszeli tanácskozásán.
A német-orosz kormányközi kapcsolatok legfőbb témái közé tartozik az oroszbarát szakadárok kelet-ukrajnai tevékenysége nyomán kialakult válság politikai rendezése is, az úgynevezett normandiai országcsoport – Németország, Franciaország, Ukrajna, Oroszország – együttműködése révén.
A szeptemberi szövetségi parlamenti (Bundestag-) választás után a politikából visszavonuló kancellár legutóbb 2020 januárjában tett hivatalos látogatást Moszkvában.

Volodimir Zelenszkij elnöknek emelt hangon kell tárgyalnia Joe Biden amerikai elnökkel július 30-án Washingtonban – jelentette ki David Arahamija, a Nép Szolgája (SZN) párt parlamenti frakciójának vezetője egy televíziós műsorban, adta hírül csütörtökön a strana.ua hírportál.
Az elnöki párt frakcióvezetője az Ukrajina 24 televízió adásában elmondta: a csúcstalálkozókon folytatott tárgyalásoknak van publikus és nem publikus része, amikor az első során a felek a diplomácia nyelvén kommunikálnak egymással, miközben a nem nyilvános részben úgy beszélnek a dolgokról, ahogy azok a valóságban vannak. „Zelenszkijnek a zárt ajtók mögötti tárgyaláson emelt hangon kell beszélnie” – hangsúlyozta.
