Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök az Alejandro Giammattei guatemalai elnökkel tartott sajtótájékoztatón bejelentette, hogy az államok között megkötötték a vízumkötelezettség eltörléséről szóló kormányközi megállapodást.
„Örömmel jelentem be, hogy a látogatás során kormányközi megállapodás született a vízumkényszer kölcsönös megszüntetéséről. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy ez csak hozzájárul az országaink és népeink közötti üzleti és társadalmi kapcsolatok fejlődéséhez” – mondta Zelenszkij.
Az elnök elmondása szerint megindult a kereskedelmi és gazdasági párbeszéd is az államok között a projektek közvetítők nélküli megvalósításával kapcsolatban. A guatemalai fél ugyanakkor megerősítette érdeklődését az ukrán mezőgazdasági termékek vásárlása és az Ukrajnával való kereskedelmi kapcsolatok kialakítása iránt.
Emellett Zelenszkij megjegyezte, hogy a felek megállapodtak abban, hogy folytatják a közös erőfeszítéseket a nemzetközi platformokon Oroszország további elszigetelése érdekében.

Koszovó elvégezte a feladatát, most ideje, hogy az Európai Unió is elvégezze a sajátját, és biztosítsa a vízummentességet a koszovói állampolgárok számára – jelentette ki Annalena Baerbock német külügyminiszter Pristinában, a Koha Ditore című koszovói napilap pénteki beszámolója szerint.
Annalena Baerbock rámutatott, hogy a pristinai kormány megkezdte azokat a reformokat, amelyeket Brüsszel kért tőle, ezért megérdemli, hogy eltöröljék az állampolgáraival szembeni uniós vízumkényszert.
A német külügyminiszter közölte: Németország számára nagyon fontos a Nyugat-Balkán stabilitása. Mint mondta, Németország a legnagyobb befektető és adományozó Koszovóban, és a kapcsolatok továbbfejleszthetők.
Köszönetet mondott a koszovói kormánynak azért, hogy csatlakozott az Oroszországgal szembeni nemzetközi szankciókhoz, véleménye szerint “ez megmutatta, hogy Koszovó Európához tartozik”.
A hivatalos adatok szerint Németországban mintegy félmillió koszovói állampolgár él.
Az Európai Unió és Koszovó közötti stabilizációs és társulási megállapodást 2015 októberében írták alá. Brüsszel Koszovó európai integrációjának folytatását a Szerbiához fűződő viszony rendezéséhez kötötte, a vízumkényszer eltörlését pedig egy, Montenegróval fennálló határvita rendezésétől tette függővé. A koszovói parlament 2018 márciusában meg is szavazta a Montenegróval megkötött határegyezmény ratifikálását, ám a vízummentesség ügyében azóta sem történt előrelépés.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúak kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, ám Belgrád ezt nem ismeri el, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet.

Semmi nem fenyegeti az ukrán állampolgárok európai uniós vízummentességét, és semmilyen alapjuk nincs az Ukrajna európai integrációját fenyegető veszélyekről tett kijelentéseket – közölte Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter szerdai sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint az ukrán diplomácia vezetője elmondta: „szeretném felhívni a figyelmet arra, amiről nem volt szó a tegnapi Ukrajna-Európai Unió csúcsértekezleten. Semmilyen nyilvános vagy nem nyilvános felvetés nem volt arról, hogy bármi fenyegetné a vízummentességet vagy hogy bármiféle kudarc érné az EU Ukrajna-politikáját.”
Kuleba megjegezte, hogy az általa mondottak meggyőzően bizonyítják, hogy semmilyen alapjuk nincs az egyes politikai pártok által terjesztett álhíreknek vagy pesszimista politikai nyilatkozatoknak az Ukrajna és az EU közötti kapcsolatok válságáról. „Ukrajna vízummentességét és EU-integrációját semmi nem fenyegeti” – összegezte az ukrán diplomácia vezetője.
Ukrajna, egyes nyugat-balkáni államok, Moldova és Grúzia állampolgárai által elkövetett állítólagos visszaélések miatt az Európai Unió egyes tagországai felvetették a vízummentesség megszüntetését – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál szerdán a Szabad Európa Rádió (SZER) értesülésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a SZER birtokába jutott, belső használatra készült EU-s dokumentumban szerepel, hogy Németország, Franciaország és Olaszország egyre inkább csalódott a vízummentes utazással való visszaélések, közte az Albánia, Moldova, Ukrajna és Szerbia állampolgárai által elkövetett „jogosulatlan tartózkodási bűncselekmények” számának megugrása miatt. A visszaélések között szerepelnek a jogellenes tartózkodáson kívül az alaptalan menedékjog iránti kérelmek. A dokumentum megemlítette, hogy az elmúlt három hónapban több mint 50 százalékkal nőtt a grúz menedékkérelmek száma a koronavírus-járvány előtti 2019-es év azonos időszakához képest.
Az EU-s vízum-felfüggesztési mechanizmus értelmében az illegális tartózkodás eseteinek vagy menedékkérelmeknek a több mint 50 százalékos emelkedése alacsony jóváhagyási arány mellett a vízumkényszer újbóli bevezetéséhez vezethet.
Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök telefonos megbeszélést tartott Hszi Csin-pinggel, a Kínai Népköztársaság elnökével. A hírt az államfő sajtószolgálata jelentette.
„A vezetők köszöntötték egymást az Ukrajna és Kína közötti stratégiai partnerség megteremtésének tizedik évfordulója alkalmából, és megerősítették kölcsönös elkötelezettségüket annak fejlesztése és elmélyítése iránt” – olvasható a bejegyzésben.
A beszélgetés során Zelenszkij megköszönte Csin-pingnek a koronavírus-vakcinákat, s kijelentették, hogy a pandémia közös leküzdése is arról tanúskodik, hogy a két ország szoros barátságban áll egymással.
A két államfő abban is megegyezett, hogy vízummentességi megállapodást írnak alá.

Ukrajna és Kína kormánya a két ország közötti vízummentességről szóló megállapodáson dolgozik, jelentette be Fan Xiangong Kína ukrajnai nagykövete Kína és Ukrajna közötti stratégiai partnerség 10. évfordulója alkalmából megrendezett sajtótájékoztatón, számolt be az Ukrinform.
„Az Önök elnöke aláírta állampolgáraink vízummentességéről (ideiglenes – szerk.) szóló határozatot. Azt szeretné, ha országaink polgárai a lehető legkényelmesebben utazhatnának egymáshoz. Ez egy nagyon jó ötlet, ezért most aktívan dolgozunk azon, hogy kormányközi megállapodást írjunk alá Kína és Ukrajna közötti vízummentességről” – mondta Fan Xiangong.
A diplomata kilátásba helyezte, hogy a vízummentes rendszer megnövelheti az Ukrajnába látogató kínai turisták számát. Ezzel összefüggésben elmondta, hogy a koronavírus járvány előtt évente 150 millió kínai állampolgár utazott külföldre, ebből 60 ezren látogattak el Ukrajnába. A diplomata szerint ezek a számok a kölcsönös turizmus fejlesztésének nagy lehetőségét jelzik.
A nagykövet hozzátette, hogy tárgyalnak a Kijev és Peking közötti közvetlen járat megnyitásán, „ez is megvalósulhat”.

Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it. Because it is Russia that humiliates itself. We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.

Ideiglenesen felfüggesztheti Ukrajna vízummentességét az Európai Unió, amiért az ukrán Alkotmánybíróság október 27-én megvonta a korrupcióellenes bizottság hatáskörét.
A Jevropejszka Pravda szerint erre Mikola Tocsickij, Ukrajna uniós nagykövete figyelmeztette Olga Sztefanisin európai és euroatlanti integrációért felelős miniszterhelyettest.
A vízummentesség megadásának egyik fő kritériuma a szervezett bűnözés és a korrupció megelőzése, valamint az ellenük folytatott küzdelem volt. Az alkotmánybíróság döntésével megszegte ezt a követelményt és elegendő alapot biztosít a vízummentesség beszüntetéséhez.
Az alkotmánybíróság megvonta az ukrán nemzeti korrupcióellenes ügynökségtől az állami nyilvántartás hozzáférését, így a kormányzati szervek vezetői adóbevallásának ellenőrzési lehetőségét is. Az ügynökség szerint a bíróság ezzel nem csak az ukrajnai korrupcióellenes rendszert lehetetleníti el, de megbénítja a helyi önkormányzati szervek és az államapparátus munkáját is.
