Szerhij Nyikiforov, az államfő szóvivője a Gyim tv-csatornának adott interjújában Dmitro Medvegyevet, az Orosz Föderáció Biztonsági Tanácsának elnökhelyettesét egy politikai „temető” vezetőjének nevezte, és az Ukrajna elleni támadásokról szóló cikkét figyelemkeltőnek nevezte.
„A fő kérdés, amit felteszek magamnak, nem az, hogy hogyan reagáljunk, hanem, hogy egyáltalán reagáljunk-e? Mert ki jelenleg Medvegyev? Az orosz politikában a szerepe az volt, hogy melegen tartsa Volodimir Putyin trónját két elnöki ciklusa között. Most a politikai „temető” vezetője, az Orosz Föderáció Biztonsági Tanácsának jelenleg semmilyen befolyása sincs.
Ezért a cikke talán csak egy kísérlet arra, hogy valahogy felkeltse a figyelmet személye iránt, hogy ő, Dmitro Medvegyev létezik. Mert különben, ezen támadásokat leszámítva, már senki sem emlékszik rá, és Oroszországban nyíltan gúnyolódnak rajta”.
Nyikiforov elmondása szerint, ha Medvegyev írását az orosz vezetés engedélyezte, akkor „ez szomorú és szánalmas, ami az oroszországi politikai vita szintjét illeti”. „Ha az orosz felső vezetés nem szankcionálta, akkor ez nagyon durva, ez badarság”, – véli Nyikiforov.
Az elnök szóvivője elégedettségét fejezte ki amiatt, hogy egyik ukrán vezető sem válaszolt nyilvánosan a cikkre, „mert ez Medvegyev valamiféle szubjektivizálását jelentené”.
„Már megfeledkeztek róla, ez egy kísérlet részéről, hogy emlékeztessen magára, de nem sikerült, mert hivatalosan senki sem reagált rá. És ez jó, úgy gondolom helyes”, – mondta.
Előzmények: Dmitrij Medvegyev, az Orosz Föderáció Biztonsági Tanácsának alelnöke cikket írt arról, hogy Ukrajna jelenlegi vezetésével nincs értelme tárgyalni. Medvegyev kijelentette, hogy Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök elárulta identitását és orosz nyelvét, és nem fognak tárgyalni a „önmagából kifordult személyiséggel”.
Emellett leminősítette az őslakosokról szóló törvényt és a Krími platformot, és utalt arra, hogy Oroszország várja Ukrajna új, oroszbarát vezetésével való tárgyalásokat. A jelentés szerint Putyin a telefonbeszélgetés során arról panaszkodott a német és francia vezetőnek, hogy Ukrajna elutasítja a donbászi konfliktus békés rendezését célzó minszki megállapodások, valamint a normandiai négyek párizsi megállapodása teljesítését. A felek megegyeztek abban, hogy megbízzák politikai tanácsadóikat és külügyminisztereiket a normandiai formátum munkájának aktivizálásával.
Mint a Kreml közölte, a külügyminiszterek a találkozónak a maguk szintjén történő megtartására fognak törekedni. Döntés született arról is, hogy a megfelelő csatornákon tanulmányozni fogják, célszerűsége esetén, a normandiai formátum lehetséges megszervezésének előfeltételeit.
Mint hírportálunk ma tájékoztatott róla, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök hétfőn telefonon a normandiai formátum keretében esetleg tartandó csúcstalálkozó lehetőségét vitatta meg francia kollégájával, Emmanuel Macronnal és Angela Merkel leköszönő német kancellárral.

Az ukrán diplomácia vezetője az ukrán-orosz viszonyt kommentálva hangsúlyozta, hogy Ukrajna nem törekszik bármi áron a békére. Kijev igyekszik elérni, hogy az Egyesült Államok további támogatást nyújtson Ukrajna védelmi képességeinek megerősítésére – jelentette ki Dmitro Kuleba ukrán külügyminiszter csütörtöki online sajtótájékoztatóján.
A tárcavezető hozzátette, hogy ebbe beleérti az ukrán fegyveres erők kiképzését és katonai felszerelések beszerzését is az Egyesült Államoktól.
Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök múlt heti egyesült államokbeli látogatását értékelve Kuleba úgy vélekedett, hogy az “új szintre emelte” a két ország stratégiai partnerségét. A látogatás alatt az amerikai kormány újabb 60 millió dolláros katonai támogatást helyezett kilátásba Ukrajnának, egyebek között “a határai mentén jelentősen megnövekedett orosz katonai tevékenység, a kelet-ukrajnai tűzszünet megsértése, és egyéb provokációk miatt”. A két ország védelmi miniszterei által Washingtonban aláírt dokumentum szerint ebben egyebek mellett újabb Javelin páncéltörő rakéták szállítása is szerepel.
Kuleba a tájékoztatón közölte, hogy Kijev készen áll a kelet-ukrajnai fegyveres konfliktus tárgyalásos rendezésében részt vevő, “normandiai négyeknek” nevezett országok – Ukrajna, Oroszország, Franciaország és Németország – újabb külügyminiszteri szintű találkozójára, de egyelőre még Szergej Lavrov orosz külügyminiszter válaszára várnak. Reményét fejezte ki, hogy Lavrov “sűrű programjai között talál számára megfelelő időpontot”, mert – mint mondta -, lenne miről tárgyalnia vele.
Az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál ezzel kapcsolatban emlékeztetett arra, hogy augusztusban Oroszország felvette a szankciós listájára Kulebát. A lépést az ukrán külügyminiszter Moszkva “bosszújának” nevezte a Krími Platform elnevezésű rendezvénysorozatért, amelynek nyitó csúcsértekezletén 46 ország képviseltette magát, köztük több állam-, illetve kormányfői szinten. A konferencia résztvevői támogatásukról biztosították Ukrajnát a Krím hovatartozásának kérdésében, és felszólították Oroszországot, hogy szüntesse meg a terület jogellenes annexióját. Németország kijelentette, hogy a Kuleba elleni orosz szankciók nem akadályozzák a normandiai formátumú miniszteri szintű ülések megtartását.
A külügyminiszter tájékoztatott arról, hogy még 159 olyan ukrán állampolgár tartózkodik a tálibok uralma alá került Afganisztánban, akik kérték hazaszállításukat. A jelentés szerint az amerikai diplomata az ukrán Szabadság Rádiónak nyilatkozva elmondta, „maga Oroszország az agresszor állam, amely elkezdte ezt a háborút.” Hozzátette: ez nem konfliktus, ez tényleg háború. „És a háború befejezésének kötelezettsége – Oroszország és nem Ukrajna kötelessége” – mutatott rá. Megjegyezte: „ez háború Ukrajnában, és nem Ukrajna háborúja. És ez tényleg, száz százalékosan Oroszország háborúja volt.”
Kent kiemelte, Washington folyamatosan dolgozik azon, hogy megfelelő szinten támogassa Ukrajnát, hogy megvédhesse magát az orosz agresszióval szemben.
