2023-ban Ukrajna visszaszerezheti az Oroszország által megszállt területeket. A hadsereg két lehetséges dátumot nevez meg a háború befejezésére, az egyik optimista, a másik reálisabb − közölte az ukrán Unian hírügynökség.

Vlagyimir Putyin orosz diktátor és rezsimje nevetség tárgya, ezért Oroszország már nem jelent katonai fenyegetést a világra – közölte szerdán Kirilo Budanov, a Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztályának vezetője az ABC News amerikai televíziónak adott interjújában, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Budanov Oroszország jövőjével kapcsolatban elmondta, hogy több forgatókönyv létezik, de az üzenet egyértelmű: „nem kell félni Oroszország átalakításától. Ez csak az egész világ javára válik”. „Putyin rezsimje mindenki számára nevetségessé vált” – mutatott rá, hozzátéve, hogy az orosz csapatok gyakorlatilag kénytelenek megvédeni Ukrajna ideiglenesen megszállt területeit, de már nem sokáig. „Oroszország már nem jelent katonai fenyegetést a világra, ez már csak fikció” – szögezte le.
A fő ukrán katonai hírszerző szerint az egyetlen probléma, ami továbbra is fennáll, az az orosz nukleáris arzenál „és egy ellenőrizetlen rezsim”, ami oda vezet, hogy „az egész világ felismeri Oroszország atomfegyver-mentesítésének vagy legalábbis nukleáris arzenálja nemzetközi ellenőrzésének szükségességét”. „Az a terrorista ország, amely mindenkit atommal fenyeget, nem olyan rezsim, amelynek etikai vagy politikai joga van a tömegpusztító fegyverek ellenőrzésére” – zárta szavait Kirilo Budanov.

Konkrét jelzést sürgetett Oroszországtól a béke érdekében Georgia Meloni olasz miniszterelnök évvégi sajtótájékoztatóján, amelyen kormánya első két hónapjának munkájáról beszélt.
Meloni bejelentette, hogy még az ukrajnai háború február 24-re eső első évfordulója előtt Kijevbe akar utazni.
Hangoztatta, hogy Róma készen áll közvetíteni egy esetleges békemegállapodás kidolgozásában. Hozzátette, a béke megteremtésén azonban „dolgozni kell”, és konkrét jelzésekre van szükség a felek részéről. Úgy látta, Oroszország részéről egyelőre „nincsenek nagy visszajelzések”.
Giorgia Meloni kedden telefonon beszélt Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel, akit meghívott Rómába. Meloni elfogadhatatlannak nevezte Moszkva nézeteit arról, hogy aki katonailag erősebb, elfoglalhatja a szomszéd ország területeit.
„Remélem, hogy az orosz kormány előbb vagy utóbb rádöbben a hatalmas tévedésére, és leállítja ezt az értelmetlen háborút, amellyel megtámadta Ukrajnát” – jelentette ki.
Év végi három órás sajtótájékoztatóján, amelyen negyvenöt kérdésre válaszolt, a miniszterelnök hangoztatta, hogy miután csak két hónapja van kormányon, összegzést még nem von, hanem munkája megkezdéséről tud beszámolni.
Azt mondta, ötéves kormányfői mandátuma végére büszke és optimista Olaszországot akar hátrahagyni. Megjegyezte, nem akar feltétlenül örök életében politikus maradni, mivel eredetileg újságíró a mestersége. Úgy vélte, a nők praktikusabbak és gyorsabbak a politikában is.
A jobbközép kormány prioritásaként az államfő közvetlen megválasztását jelölte meg.
Kifejtette, hogy az általa vezetett Olasz Testvérek (FdI) jobboldali párt elődje, az Olasz Szociális Mozgalom (MSI) nem szalonképtelen, és jelentős szerepet töltött be az olasz köztársaság történetében.
Példaként említette az MSI szerepét az antiszemitizmus elleni fellépésben, valamint a politikai erőszakkal és a terrorizmussal szemben.
Giorgia Meloni szólt a szerda esti kormányülésen elfogadott migrációs rendeletről is kifejtve, hogy az intézkedéscsomag a nemzetközi jog tiszteletben tartására akarja ösztönözni a nem kormányzati szervezeteket.
Megjegyezte, a sajtó gyakran idézi korábbi kijelentéseit, miszerint hajóblokádot akar felállítani a Földközi-tengeren az illegális migráció feltartóztatására.
„Tévesen számolnak be a szavaimról egyes újságírók, a hajóblokádot nem az észak-afrikai országokkal szemben vezetném be, és semmilyen háborút nem akarok indítani (ellenük), hajóblokád alatt európai missziót értek” – jelentette ki, hangsúlyozva, hogy első lépésben gazdasági beruházásokkal kell segíteni a migránsok kiindulási országait. Líbia stabilitását elengedhetetlennek nevezte a migrációs helyzet szempontjából.
Ami a Katargate néven is emlegetett korrupciós botrányt illeti, amelyben az Európai Parlament több olasz képviselője és más munkatársa érintett, Giorgia Meloni kijelentette, „idegesíti”, hogy olasz botrányként könyvelik el a történéseket, miközben „szocialista botrányról” van szó. Hangoztatta, hogy az európai intézményeknek nem szabad elfogadniuk azt a nézetet, miszerint sérthetetlenek.
Kormánya feladatai között nevezte meg a demográfiai növekedés ösztönzését is, amelyet gazdasági prioritásnak nevezett. Hangoztatta, hogy eszközként a családok támogatását, kedvező adóztatását akarják használni.
Új európai stabilitási paktumot sürgetett, kijelentve, hogy a régi gazdasági eszközök érvényüket veszítették. Felszólította az Európai Központi Bankot (EKB), „kerülje el a pánikkeltést és az ingadozást”, amellyel – szerinte – megsemmisíti a kormányok pénzügyi erőfeszítéseit.
Miután az olaszországi repülőtereken ismét kötelezővé tették a Kínából érkezők tesztelését, Giorgia Meloni úgy vélte, a járványhelyzet ellenőrzés alatt áll. Ezzel egy időben európai szinten egyeztetett intézkedéseket szorgalmazott.

Kirilo Budanov, az ukrán védelmi minisztérium hírszerzési főigazgatóságának vezetője elmondta, hogy Ukrajna kombinált úton szerzi vissza az ideiglenesen megszállt Krímet: katonai erővel és diplomáciával.
Budanov elmondta, hogy nem érdemes meghallgatni azon nyugati emberek véleményét, akik nem tükrözik az ukrán nép álláspontját, s azt állítják, hogy a Krím egy „vörös vonal”.
Szerinte Ukrajna 1991 határain belül elismert ország, és aki ezzel nem ért egyet, az nem ért egyet a második világháború vége óta fennálló világrenddel és az ENSZ elveivel.
Az ukrán hírszerzés vezetője ismét hangsúlyozta azt is, hogy 1991-es határvonalak visszaszerzéséhez Ukrajnának fegyverekre van szüksége – nagyon sok fegyverre.

Dmitro Kuleba ukrán külügyminiszter közölte, hogy az ukrán kormány február végéig békecsúcsot szeretne tartani az ENSZ-ben Antonio Guterres ENSZ-főtitkár, mint lehetséges közvetítő részvételével.
A külügyminiszter az Associated Pressnek adott interjújában beszélt a kérdésről.
A Külügyminisztérium vezetője megjegyezte, hogy „teljes mértékben elégedett” Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök amerikai látogatásának eredményeivel. Az amerikai kormány speciális tervet dolgozott ki a Patriot-rendszerek kevesebb mint 6 hónapon belüli telepítésére Ukrajnában. Általában egy évig tart az előkészítés.
Kuleba hangsúlyozta, hogy Ukrajna mindent megtesz azért, hogy jövőre megnyerje a háborút. Ugyanakkor megjegyezte a diplomácia fontos szerepét.
„Minden háború diplomáciai úton végződik. Minden háború a csatatéren és a tárgyalóasztalnál végzett akciók eredményeként ér véget” – magyarázta a miniszter.
Elmondása szerint az ukrán vezetőség február végéig szeretne békecsúcsot tartani. Véleménye szerint Guterres hatékony közvetítőnek és tárgyalónak, és ami a legfontosabb, elvszerű és becsületes embernek bizonyult.
„Ezért örülnénk aktív részvételének” – mondta a külügyminiszter. Oroszországot csak akkor lehet meghívni erre a csúcstalálkozóra, ha Moszkva minden háborús bűnéért a nemzetközi bíróság előtt felel.
