Az ukrán állami fegyvergyártó csütörtökön közölte, hogy a lengyel fegyvergyártóval, a Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) közösen 125 mm-es lövedékek gyártását kezdi meg a szovjet korszak tankjai számára – értesült a The Guardian.
Az Ukroboronprom közölte, hogy Lengyelország lesz a második NATO-tagállam, amely segít Ukrajnának a lőszerek előállításában.
A megállapodással összhangban új gyártósorokat terveznek a 125 mm-es harckocsilövegekhez való lőszerek nagy mennyiségű gyártására – áll a vállalat közleményében. A megállapodást Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök szerdai lengyelországi látogatása alkalmával írták alá.
Ukrajna biztosítja a technológiát, és szakembereket küld a lengyel városokba, ahol a magas biztonsági kockázatokra való tekintettel a gyártóüzemeket fogják elhelyezni. Az Ukroboronprom tisztviselői szerint Oroszország folyamatosan támadta a fegyvergyártó létesítményeket, ami arra kényszeríti őket, hogy biztonságosabb területekre helyezzék át a gyártást.

A jelentés szerint Borrell felajánlotta, hogy az EU-tagországok számára kedvező, akár 90 %-os visszatérítési arányt biztosít, ha a lőszert meghatározott időpontig leszállítják. Emellett hangsúlyozta a közös beszerzések fontosságát Ukrajna fegyverellátásának folytatása érdekében, és egyúttal jelezte, hogy szükség van az EU-tagországok fegyverkészleteinek a feltöltésére is.
Az Ukrajnának szánt lőszerek szállításának kérdése várhatóan napirendre kerül, amikor Joe Biden amerikai elnök a héten találkozik Olaf Scholz német kancellárral. Az Egyesült Államok a lehető leggyorsabb cselekvésre sürgeti európai szövetségeseit. Észtország, amely az év elején először vetette fel a kérdést, azt közölte, hogy az európai uniós országoknak körülbelül 4 milliárd eurót kellene befektetniük egymillió lövedék közös vásárlásába.
Ukrajna európai partnerei tervezik a lőszerek, elsősorban 155 mm-es tüzérségi lövedékek azonnali átszállítását a meglévő készletekből vagy a függőben lévő megrendelésekből, valamint egy közös beszerzési rendszer alkalmazását a megrendelések európai iparban történő összpontosítására. Az EU azt tervezi, hogy különféle intézkedéseket javasol a lőszergyártás hosszú távú növelésére és az ipar előtt álló több kihívás leküzdésére, hogy lehetővé tegye a tagállamok számára lőszerkészleteik feltöltését.

A tudósításban idézett Olaf Scholz német kancellár azt mondta: „Ukrajna egész éves támogatása azt a felismerést is meghozta számunkra, amely lehetővé teszi, hogy biztosítsuk a kellő alkatrészellátást, hogy a háborúban használt fegyverek javítására szolgáló létesítményeket hoztunk létre Ukrajnán kívüli helyeken.”
A német vezető azt is jelezte, hogy Németország fejlett lőszergyártást fog biztosítani mind az ország által szállított, mind a kelet-európai országok készleteiből érkező fegyverekhez.
Mint hírportálunk ma beszámolt róla, az Európai Bizottság olyan tervet kíván a tagállamok elé terjeszteni, amely nemcsak Ukrajna lőszerellátását biztosítaná a katonai támogatás keretében, hanem az uniós országok készleteit is feltöltené.
